This was my first time skiing… And a friend recommended this item to help carry your skis back to rental apartment. It ended up being more of a nuisance and very frustrating as you have to balance the skis perfectly to keep them on your shoulder, especially when you’re in your ski suit. The overall quality was good and it held the skis and poles securely. Just don’t think it’s a necessary item.

It worked as it was described. We didn’t have a very long walk to the lift so it wasn’t worth messing with. It would definitely be a life saver if you had a longer walk to the lifts.

Bought 3 for my grandchildren ages 6, 8, and 11. They all loved how much easier it is to carry their skis down 3 flights of stairs, across the street and up the slope to the lift. When ready to ski they are compact enough to fit in the outside zippered pocket of their camel-backs. They have used them for about 10 ski days and no broken parts, as some review mentioned. Seem very sturdy to me. They do not use the feature to hold the poles, as easier for them to walk using the poles up the slope. We have a place across the street from the lifts, but 3 flights of stairs (no elevator) makes carry skis for little ones challenging.
