I loved this product. Seems durable but stopped working after a month. Got compliments on the laser.

We have this projecting on a large tree and the display on the tree is enchanting, especially to my wife. Easy setup but to get the effect we wanted I had to build a small platform to get the proper angle from the ground to the tree and still be within the range of the power source. The platform is a simple upside-down V. This gave the best effect of "fireflies" on the tree. The remote control is easy to master but the whole system has one shortcoming. You can set a timer and the unit will come on for the preset amount of time each day but it doesn't take into account the changing time of sunset (daylight). So I have it powered by a smart switch which does compensate for the changing sunset. However, the device does not store its settings when power is lost. Therefore it comes on each day with its default settings which may not be what you want. If you do use the remotes timer function it will remember your preferences.

We couldn't keep though because our dog would keep barking at it.

First off, this device is really cool. I bought it last year to project the fireflies onto a large pine tree, that had to be cut down in order to build up a new retaining wall. That's OK, there is another tree by the street. Now, here's some things you need to know. This projector is hooked in to a 30 amp power contactor that controls all the Christmas lights via a timer. This means that power is turned off to everything at 10 PM each night. The projector doesn't remember what it was doing when power comes back on. It goes into default mode, which is the "Nebula" light AND the fire flies. If you try to turn off the Nebula light with the remote, nothing happens. You have to turn off the projector with the remote, turn it back on, then turn off the Nebula light. Every Time. Well, I'm not standing outside waiting for the Christmas Lights to come on, just to go through this little jig with the projector. I don't want the UV light, so, a piece of electricians tape over the UV light takes care of the problem. Just the fire flies are projected. I'll probably use some electrician's tape to do a partial block off of the fire flies as well, so I'm not projecting fire flies onto the street and the fence across the street. And the power lines overhead. And the house on the corner. The projector is mounted to a fence at the top of a 25 foot hill, projecting up to the tree. So, yes, this thing is powerful enough to project over 100 feet away. But, your neighbors may not like that. Electrician's tape can block off part of the projection so you're not ticking off some of the neighbors. And, I live close to a municipal airport, so I don't want to tick off the FAA, either.Despite all that, I'm very happy with the projector. I just wasn't expecting some of the things it does. So, four stars for not remembering the previous settings on power up. Plus, it's really cool when it's very foggy, looks like green spider webs going to the tree!

I have bought two and will buy another tomorrow! It looks like the trees are twinkling! Absolutely beautiful! This is one of my favorite finds on Amazon! So easy to use! Just put it under the tree and turn it on! It looks Ike lights are on in the tree far, far, far above the ground. Love it!

Loved this product originally and enjoyed the firefly show with lovely blue/purple light.Within 1 month, the Fireflies stopped working and now I am left with only just the blue/purple light. The fireflies are totally bitchen, looks like the real thing, too. The fireflies were really a show stopper for the neighbors, kids and passers-by.So, I bought a 2nd one (kept the 1st one) and the same thing happened again…. The fireflies stopped working. my neighbor tried to help me figure out why “2” of these did the same thing. But we could not resolve it.So now, I have “2” blue/purple lights on my patio, but no fire flies.

This is the most prettiest light I have. I love showing it off in the house. We use it indoors. It can easily be mounted. Moves around very well. It has a really long cord, which is very useful. I like all the modes on it.

Love the lights, though the patterns seem very difficult to adjust. The remote seems to work sometimes and not others. I push the on button and it doesn’t stay on. I push all the buttons and play around for a little bit and then all of a sudden it will stay on?? Quite difficult to understand the remote? Otherwise kind of a fun light projection, but def overpriced for what it does.

Es lo más cercano a las lucierngas que puedes tener en tu jardín, proyectarlo en los árboles genera un efecto muy parecido a las verdaderas luciernagas del verano.
