I ordered this cover for my round fire pit, which has a diameter of 48”. The fabric seems very durable and it successfully passed my water repellency test. The construction is good, with a double stitched seam between the top and lower portions. There is a strong twill adjustable strap around the lower portion of the cover that passes through casings at different levels and allows for proper adjustment to hold the cover securely in place. I am very satisfied with this product and I feel that the price is reasonable for the quality.

After years of not using a cover for our outdoor fire pit, I finally tried this particular one. I am glad I did, as its quality and sizing are just what I wanted and expected. The measurements I took of our fire pit were right at the high end of the listed dimensions, so I was not certain whether this cover would be slightly too small. Fortunately its diameter is exactly right for our fire pit. The straps are useful to keep the cover snug so that the cover does not easily fly off when it is windy. We just had a few days of higher than average winds, and the cover stayed on.If it rains, or even just after several days, I've noticed that I have had to pull the cover taut again as it will form a slight dent in the center. Whether due to the weight of water collecting on it or simply due to the cover being gradually blown in the breeze or winds. Not a big deal, and expected for this type of cover design.

I built a fire pit in my back yard, so I wanted a cover since my son likes to play in it. This one is nice.
