Perfect item at a great price. Love that I can mount them to the wall. Getting the double pack was perfect, one for kitchen one for living room. Everyone should have one or two on hand.

Ordered these so I have some fire protection in several rooms. Added one to the kitchen, garage, basement and master bedroom. They arrived intact and undamaged. Just hoping I never actually have to use these!

UPDATE: The seller contacted me to explain the situation. I'm still a dubious about spraying water-based anything on a flaming oil, but upon further research the claim about electrical fires could be true. Kudos for contacting me and explaining. Rating revised. Here's the seller's message:"Because the agents in water-based fire extinguishers form and expand a thin film of water on the surface of combustible materials, isolating them from air and extinguishing flames. By spraying fine mist through the atomizing nozzle, the fire scene is dispersed, heat is evaporated, the temperature is rapidly reduced, and the oxygen concentration in the burning area is lowered to prevent re-ignition. Therefore, it can effectively extinguish flammable liquid and kitchen grease fires. Since the water in water-based fire extinguishers is pure water and non-conductive, it can effectively extinguish electrical fires. We have conducted tests and obtained certification reports, which demonstrate its effectiveness in extinguishing Class A, B, C, and K fires."-----ORIGINAL REVIEW:This fire extinguisher comes in a cool looking can, complete with a sturdy mounting bracket and mounting screws. Safety pin is easy enough to pull out, but I didn't go any further than that and put the safety pin back in. This is one of those items that I cannot really test and hope never have to use.-2 star is because of advertised ratings that seem highly suspicious. Here's the deal: This fire extinguisher is rated 3A:21B:C:K as specified on the can. It is also specified that this is a water-based extinguisher. That rating means that:3A - able to smother wood/paper/trash fire with equivalent of 3x1.25=3.75gal of water (neat for 20oz can)21B - able to smother flammable liquid (gas, paint thinner, etc) fire covering 21 sqft (also neat)C - electrical fires, safe for use on energized equipment. This claim is highly suspect since this extinguisher is water-based (ie conductive medium)K - cooking oil fires. Water and water-based extinguishers should NEVER be used on cooking oil fires as they have a potential to spread the fire much more.I have no reason to doubt 3A:21B claims as this is the primary target of water-based extinguishers. I am highly suspicious of C:K claims and would certainly avoid using it on energized equipment or cooking oil fires - ie this fire extinguisher is NOT for the kitchen despite claims to the contrary on the can (kitchen is literally the first place that is mentioned).
