When we purchased our Bosch dishwasher, I read through all the directions and it definitely recommended this salt for softening the water. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because it is rather expensive. Otherwise, it does exactly what it is meant to do.

Finish salt keeps my Bosch dishwasher running at peak performance. My dishes and flatware sparkle, and my dishwasher interior stays clean and odor free.The box of salt arrived well packed and exactly as represented.Only issue I have is how it dispenses. To overcome this short fall on box design I pour the box contents into a drink pitcher with lid. When I need to fill the dishwasher it makes it so much easier.

Nothing in particular either way, it is just salt. That being said it was a good price, and the only place in Canada that I know of to purchase it if you have a dishwasher with a built in softener.

I have been using Finish salt for a number of years. I believe it to be the best on the market, and, completely trustworthy. Try it and be finished with inferior brands.
