Includes SnorkelPersonally use a Finis snorkel for my own training, so when I saw this I had to get one for my kids. Snorkel works as expected and no complaints with function. Perfect for teaching proper head position and body rotation without having the child constantly have to turn to breath.Biggest challenge my son has is the lack of a purge valve. Any water in the snorkel becomes a choking event where as in the adult version and easy exhale clears. Also the snorkel seems to ride the top of his head closer than the adult version does mine. This means even the smallest dip of his head results in choking. Because of this I would not use for anything but freestyle training. Was hoping to use with fly. Still I know its a teach tool, but for a jr product its unforgiving here. For reference, our son is 8 yrs old and well within range specified and average height.Still, Finis puts out great products, and their training snorkels are top notch. The benefits of this for him outweigh the occasional swallowing of water and have already shown dividends in his competitions. Highly recommend finis snorkels, but would recommend getting the version with the purge valve over this one if available.

My 9 year old was excited to learn to snorkel with this. They are easy to use and they can wear the goggles they feel most comfortable with on.

This looks like a well-made piece of equipment- built for youth. The silicon mouthpiece is soft, durable, and kid-sized. Honestly, I saw the J tube with no valves and just bought this for snorkeling for my kids. Actually, it won't work for that, as the tube is meant to rest right between their eyes. This is for learning swimming. That's not their fault- I should have paid closer attention. However, FINIS is a quality brand, and this piece is still a good one.

Le compré este snorkel a mi nieta, aparte de bonito, con buen diseño, buenos materiales. tiene 2 características particulares, el tubo tiene un diámetro un poco mayor a otros modelos lo cual genera menor resistencia a la ventilación durante el esfuerzo. y segundo la boquilla está diseñada para la anatomía de menores, por dimensiones y el material que no es completamente rígido.

Gear bag upgrade, this is a great training tool for competitive swimmers to improve breath control and body position. The snorkel was a little difficult to slide through the strap which ensures a tight non-slip position. It is much more comfortable for younger swimmers than the original snorkel design with the lightweight shorter tube and smaller mouthpiece, plus the molded silicon strap without a bracket is much softer and a better fit across the forehead.
