This was fairly easy to program. I’m using it to lock a backpack, so it needed to have a thin cord to pass through the holes of the zipper tabs.I was using a combo lock before and I hated it due to how slow and cumbersome it was (plus trying to remember yet another sequence for passcode). This lock is quick and easy to use.So far, I would recommend it!

I used this for my gym locker and it works amazing. Quick grab while unlocking and pops right off. I will say that setting up the first fingerprint was tricky, but after about 10 minutes fussing with it I was able to record my fingerprint. Each time you try to set it up, just test your fingerprint to unlock it and pull slightly on the lock cable to see if it comes out. Once you get that to work, don't mess with holding buttons down. Haven't had a single issue with it not recognizing my fingerprint after set up and I use it every day (going on about 2 months now).

I absolutely love this fingerprint lock. Set up was super easy and it’s very accurate. I keep this little guy in my work bag as i only lock my work locker when I’m actively working. I registered my boyfriend’s print as well as he works in another area of the hospital and sometimes leaves my travel mugs in my locker when he finishes his coffee. Great quality, ease of use, amazing convenience. Battery life has lasted me two weeks so far and is still going. Highly recommend. Worth every penny. I may even get another in the future for my gym bag. Only downfall is the odd time i hear a little BOOOP from my bag but it’s nothing crazy.

Finger print sensor is unreliable. Seven out of ten attempts to unlock it fail.I think it will go to the rubbish when rains come.Not going to stand in rain for that many unlock attempts.

This little lock at first glance appeared to be a perfect travel solution to avoid luggage theft from my luggage. It was very easy to set up and worked perfectly. I could not believe how much easier this was in comparison to a similar type of lock I purchased a few years ago, which did not always read my fingerprint every time. Once programmed I put this lock aside and about a month later I tried to open it using my fingerprint but it would not open. I followed the enclosed instructions to override the user fingerprint with the administrator fingerprint I had set up initially but no luck. PLEASE keep in mind when I contacted Amazon they explained I could not receive a refund but they would send me a replacement lock and if that were problematic I would have no recourse. Customer satisfaction with Amazon just flew out the window for the fist time in 18 years!Note: the problem with this lock is that there is no other way to open the lock other than with a fingerprint. There is no keypad to enter a code, nor a key in case of emergency. I do not want to have to carry a bolt cutter with me on vacation just in case the fingerprint fails. I am out $28 for a lock that is not reliable! Makes me very angry. I have not opened the new lock so I will probably sell at a discount on Mercari or a similar app.

I will first admit that I didn't spend much time researching this before adding to my cart and ordering it while my wife and I were visiting my family over the holidays. Perhaps I would have made a different decision had I done so. I wanted a biometric lock for my luggage when we travel. I figured this would be good. Well, it does work and seems easy enough to use. Registering my fingerprint was fast and I was able to open and close the lock without much difficulty (other than not realizing the lock had opened and I just needed to pull the cable out at that point). However, as I was putting this on my suitcase before heading to the airport, I learned the cable was just slightly too wide to fit. It wouldn't fit my carry-on either. It did fit my wife's suitcase, so we just switched our locks. I realized also that there is no TSA key input, so if they wanted to get into my wife's suitcase, this was going to be cut off and I just blew $25. Luckily, they didn't cut it off on our trip home. Now, I went to unlock it and it didn't open. I ended up getting it to open, but I think I just held down my finger long enough to set up a new fingerprint and did it again. I'm planning to try this at the gym and maybe that's what I will use it for from now on. I will get a TSA approved biometric lock in the future which will definitely fit my suitcase. I hope that it works well for whatever else I use it for, but just consider my experience if you're planning to purchase this particular one.

I got one pretty quickly. It came the next day. The brand name was a little faded, but I didn't think much of it. I need the lock to put on a cabinet where medications and cleaners are kept away from the kids. I get tired of using a manual lock and having to hide it from the kids when I use it, so I wanted something quick and easy. I set the lock administrator right away and was pleased how easy it was to use despite the instructions being tiny print. It worked great. Then one of my kids wanted to play with it, and the lock worked for him too. I hadn't even set his fingerprint up. I asked for it back and he put it face down in my palm. It unlocked for that too. Clearing all fingerprints and starting over didn't help. I contacted tech support (non-native english speaker) so it took a while to get answers. They ended up sending me a label and a replacement. The replacement came the next day. The brand name was faded on that one too, like someone had rubbed it multiple times. And it had the exact same problem. I set the administrator, and my kid was able to open it anyway. I tried it with my dog, and she was able to open it too! Ridiculous. I've sent them both back, and I won't ever get one of these again. I'll try one with an app I can put on my phone and not cheap out the next time.
