They have a totally different feel than the rubber ones. Got size small for my wife who is a little bigger than a liter bottle of soda and they were very snug. Word to the wise.

Like others mentioned some of these are entirely too small. None of them fit my thumbs.

These little finger sleeves are a lifesaver for me. My right index finger was complaining about pushing my knitting needle back and forth. This little sleeve provides a buffer and helps me so much ! That's all I'm going to say

I had to sew up my mattress that got rips in it while transporting it from a move. These did a great job at protecting my fingers from the intense sewing job I had to do on the mattress. I also have to use these to sew up my husbands blue jeans. He is very rough on jeans and I try to keep a pair for as long as possible if we can. They fit my fingers pretty well, only down side is that they make your fingers sweat from the lack of circulation, but that is to be expected from this kind of thing. I would recommend to people who need to do sewing on a tough sewing project!

While the product seems fine, the size is way too small to fit over small female fingers.The thumb protector fits my ring finger.Consider ordering the Large.

I don't sew much at all, but I had a costume that required dozens of patches to be sewn on a thick denim jacket in less than a week. I bought these knowing that I don't have any calluses built up and I am not skilled enough to utilize more than one thimble at once. I put one of these on each pointer finger and my thumbs. I wore a thimble on my right middle finger. Basically, these saved my fingers from getting any blisters! I didn't have them on my thumbs at first, but noticed I was starting to get sore after just a couple of patches. So I put them on my thumbs too, and never developed a blister, even after the last patch!These will get holes poked in them easily if you use all of your force on them to push a needle through, so make sure you also use a thimble. These work great for all of the "helper" fingers that pull the needle through and assist the push lightly. They also helped me with gripping the thread. I'm never hand sewing without these again!

love the quality, thick, secure, but they. were. just too tight and cut off the circulation after a few minutes. They do not seem to o make a large size for women, or else I would try them.
