I purchase one 400 micron mesh filter once a year. After a year they usually become brittle and tear while cleaning them. I would love for them to make a stronger, more durable filter, but for now this gets the job done and fits the basket correctly.

This is an exact replacement for the bag that unfortunately is not.very durable. Good price, so even if the filter doesn't last, at least it's easy to replace

This product appears to be an exact replacement for the Paramount skimmer basket screen. Fit is perfect for the skimmer basket and appears to be made of durable screen material and well built. The seams appear to be machine sewn and hopefully the stitching is as durable as the screen material. My original basket screen bag which appears to be same / very similar and after about a year and a half the seam stitching deteriorated and the bag seams opened up. I've never used chlorine tablets in the skimmer so this isn't why the bag failed. This is why I bought this product and hopefully I can get more than another 18 months of use. If this product is more durable than the original it deserves a 5-star rating.

I replaced my original Paramount skimmer mesh after three years of service. It worked reliably, but in the end, the stitching of the bottom of the mesh unraveled. I tried repairing it, but the force of the water moving through the mesh tore the stitching. I was pleased to find an exact replacement on Amazon for the Paramount basket. I like the deep basket design, as it doesn't easily get clogged up when lots of debris enters the basket (say after a heavy wind/rain storm). High-quality materials and constructions.
