I didn't dislike anything about this product. I have bought other sets before coming from a different different country. The quality was poor but this product quality is very good, no chipped carbide and overall finishes are good, they don't look like they've been made in a back room somewhere. Price is good, would buy again if needed.

Harbor freight boring bar set is better, but they don’t sell them in store anymore. None of these have a cut relief angle ground in. A few min on a grinder (per tool) is enough to get them nice and functional, but having to grind carbide it is an annoyance and hard on wheels. Otherwise appear to be decent quality. Will update if I encounter any issues in use.

Like I said appear well made although I was expecting flat bars to fit in my lathe turret. They are rounded so only fit in my tail chuck unless I grind to sides flat which would make them more useful for me. Annoying that no size labels so have to measure each one.

Pros: Clean, nice range of sizes, cheapCons: not rigid enough, deflects immediately.

At first I couldn't figure out why these were giving me a horrible surface finish and so much chatter. Then I looked closely and realized the bottom of the tool was dragging in the hole I was boring. Once I dressed the clearance angle a little until it was only touching on the face of the tool it was cutting really nicely. So far have only used on AL. I still think these are 4 stars simply because they are so cheap.

Relief angles were all wrong, ultra brittle, absolute garbage. Finally chattered out a big enough hole to use an insert bar and had no problems. You're better off using a stick.
