I have a long winter coat that's like a weighted blanked with a hood. Hanging from the face of an overhead filing cabinet, this thing doesn't budge.

Bought because it's supposed to hold up to 30 pounds. I wanted it to hold my purse off the floor. My purse weights 7 pounds and this product will not hold it up. It's junk. As you can see in my picture my purse is hanging on it and setting on the ground. Waste of money.

These magnets are EXTREMELY strong. It takes a lot of strength to get them off of the steel beam at my shop. I can almost hang from them due to the amount of weight they can hold. lol I do wish they were a little longer or stuck out further but that is my mistake and not theirs. I will be looking at other length options as well.

We went on a cruise and these magnets were clutch. The cabin was small but we were able to hang things everywhere. Towels, swim wear and backpacks all stayed off the floor. The only thing the magnets couldn't hold up was the bag with all the snorkeling gear. Maybe if I had doubled up. I enjoyed the versatility of being able to adjust the placement depending on what needed to be hung up at the time. I wish my house was made of metal and not wood and drywall.

Powerful magnets that can hold up pretty much anything from coats to tools to many types of lawn equipment. As long as you have a good solid metal area to put it on, the thicker the better. I have metal doors that are painted and it holds great. I hang my cane, dog leases, umbrellas and everything else I need to grab when walking out of back door. Will be buying more.
