Choosing the Correct Filter Size
Nominal Size vs. Actual Size
The nominal size is a shorthand number rounded to the nearest whole or half inch, normally in a larger font (ex: 16 x 20 x 1). Whereas the actual size is an exact measurement, normally in a smaller font, that depicts the filter's precise dimensions (ex: 15.50 x 19.50 x 0.75). All filters have both.
Measuring Your Air Filter
If your current air filter does not have a dimension listed on the frame, use a tape measure to record the width x length x depth to find the actual size. Then round these measurements up to the nearest inch to find a corresponding nominal size, which will be easier to locate when searching online.

I used some small (1/4"x 1/2" wide) peel off and stick foam door sealer around the bottom of these filters. This allowed them to seal nice and snuggly in their filter location. These filters made a big difference from the previous dust and pet dander I was experiencing.

I was tasked with replacing all of our properties HVAC filters, I came up with an inventory and all but two of the 9 suites were different sizes, filterbuy was the easiest to deal with, type in your size, pick your quality level and packaging and place the order. I ordered a 12 month supply, came quickly, I had one wrong size (my fault) they quickly offered a return. I safely stored the extras in the attics next to the units. Easy peasy! These filters are an excellent choice for keeping my home's air clean. They fit perfectly in my HVAC system and do a fantastic job at trapping dust, pollen, and allergens. Have been using these for about 2 years. They work well, fit fine and catch a lot of dust, hair, etc. The auto delivery feature just makes it so convenient. I have a reminder to change it and it gets delivered on time so perfect. There may be better products and or prices out there but this is an ideal solution for me.

I have an obscure sized furnace and filters are a nightmare to find. Originally I bought the wrong size - I let the manufacturer know ASAP and they kindly stopped my order without charge. I was so thankful with the great service, I bought the CORRECT size and they work like a charm! I will keep buying this product from now on :)

I just bought a different brand and I wish I stuck with these. The difference in price, was reasonable.Both have identical ratings, but these seem far better constructed and better materials than the ones I bought. Since I have another 5 brand new, I won't need any for this year, but I will return to this brand when the time comes.

We actually have two places that require filters, and I chose this brand for both. It was my first time purchasing from them. They were maybe $1 more for the four-pack, but more than worth it. They’re the only filter that states they filter mold that I could find, and they are incredibly sturdy. They are also perfectly sized. This is the only brand we’ll be purchasing in the future.
