Terrific little amp that adds volume, clarity and bass to your vanilla headphone sound. When paired with a somewhat higher quality pair of headphones, in my case the SHP6500 from Philips, the sound quality is really good without breaking the bank. Comes with the amp, stick on rubber feet and a USB A to USB C cable for power. Becomes it's own audio out on my PC, and the difference is clearly "audible".

The build quality is top notch. Portable and sleek. Probably very good for driving headphones up to 80Ohm, but sadly not powerful enough for 250Ohm and up.

Make a simple connection, and it goes.. Great sound, very high signal to noise ratio. Good price. You won't be disappointed.

I'm using this with a pair of ath m50x. My personal laptop is a M1 macbook pro and I saw how much a dac/amplifier makes when listening to music. Then I started a new job and they gave me a Dell and I was disappointed with the sound quality from the internal DAC when compared to my Mac.I decided to buy this DAC trying to get something similar to the macbook pro when I'm working and I'm blown away. It's even way better than the DAC in my Macbook. If you're thinking about this DAC just get it, it's worth it.

The upside of open-back studio headphones is that they are amazingly accurate. The downside is that they are hard to drive since they need a lot of power. The NEW version of the Fiio K3 DAC / Headphone Amp hasn't run out of headroom yet and the sound is just as good as what my professional studio amps and speakers can do.I have the K3 connected to my Mac through a CalDigit hub using a Fiio USB-C cable (not included - what!?) and am using it with Final Cut Pro and DSP Quattro.Along with the actual DAC/Amp, you get a USB-C to USB-A cable (why not a USB-C to USB-C? I dunno), rubber feet, and a very spare instruction book which forces you to go to the Internet to look for instructions. But the sound? Oh, yeah! The

After 5 years of hard earned work my Creative Sound Blaster Omni just died. So, got this one. It drives my Sennheiser HD 600 extremely well with the low gain. The sound is mellow and it renders very nicely, according to me, heavy metal. I hope they built it to last.
