Lovely fabric, and dries fast enough the gloves are never wet when I'm coming off the ice. I haven't exactly fallen on my hands to really test the pads, but it's probably better than nothing and honestly was not depending on them much for that purpose.

Very nice material and color. Usually gloves are too tight in places. Theses have good stretch and proportions. Wish the padding was a little thicker. I use for ice skating.

These are nice gloves due to the padding on the palm, but the fingers are very long even at an extra small size for my 8 year old who has long fingers and slim hands. I ordered two sizes and the fabric is slightly more shiny and smooth on one pair. We have an older pair where the fingers are not super long. Confusing how they vary so much for what should be the same glove.

Read some reviews and I’m a little confused at those who said that there’s no gel inserts that it’s foam. There are gel inserts in these gloves. The small foam piece if you turn the glove inside out, is part of the stitching but has nothing to do with the actual gel insert. I am here to say that I’ve been using these for skating for a while now and they are perfect! I plan on getting another pair in a different color because they are so great. They’ve been great at protecting my hands when I fall and they don’t soak up a lot of moisture when out on the ice. They keep my hands warm and aren’t bulky which is great.

I have very small hands for my age so finding gloves that are close and tight are what i prefer since it still allows me to feel either the ice or my blades. It fits amazingly and prevents me form cutting or hurting my hands while skating, it also keeps my hand warm although the padding isa bit small and thin so it doesn't really protect from hitting the ice but it does hold other benefits such as I listed.

The seam on the middle finger on the left hand glove had come away, had to mend before use.

I got wide hands but they fit very well. It is also not too warm or too cold while skating. I haven’t fall yet so I don’t know about how well it protect the wrists. (I probably don’t want to know lol). I gave it 4 starts simple because it’s a bit pricy in my opinion.

Not worth the cost. Gloves super thin and there is only padding on palm not around wrist as advertised.

I ordered this for my 12 year old daughter. She is a figure skater. I purchased the ones without stones, and they work great for her. She wore them the the California Championships and they worked wonderful. The little gel pad is wonderful when your skater is pulling her blade above her head after a layback spin. We loved that the gloves were short and not long - they were easily tucked into her costume.

Got this gloves for one of my daughter's competitions. She's 7 they fit well but just a bit long for her fingers. Still pretty good gloves... also seem to be good quality... I had my doubts since I read reviews of simoliar gloves breaking easily and saw her friends with some that also broke fast but theses seem to be good! I'm getting black ones for her and will update my review... hopefully they last as I expect them to.
