Practice for hunting with the deer vitals on the back of Hurricane Bag Targets. For longer target life, the vitals are positioned off-center so they don't line up with aiming points on the target front. Hurricane's proprietary design gives you outstanding target performance. A strap handle makes Hurricane easy to carry.

Great bag target for backyard crossbow shooting, works well with Barnett Ghost 375 and KI350 bows.

Excellent target. It’s worth every cent. I use my compound bow set at 60lb pull, and have also used a crossbow with bolts on this target. Arrows and bolts are easily removed, and it stops everything. If it stops xbow bolts, so trust that it easily stops compound bow arrows. The colors also make the target show well in low light, like dawn and dusk. Best value for the price I’ve found in a target. I couldn’t ask for a better target.

Bought this for my hubby as an early Christmas gift and he can't say enough good things about it. He is an avid bow hunter and does a lot of target practice. He says this is high quality and perfect for his needs.

This is a pretty nice target that will stop an 175# crossbow bolt. I gave it 4 stars because at 20 yards my bow will penetrate the back side making it a bit hard to work the bolt out but they do not go all the way through the bag. Good thing is all the bulls eyes on the bag so you have different spots to hit. It seems to self heal by picking it up and dropping it to the ground a few times. It also seems to hold up to the elements outside, I've had it for months in the rainy weather of Michigan and it has not deteriorated yet but it is in the shade. I would buy another when this one wears out. Great price and works as advertised.

With so many targets to choose from I wasnt sure what to buy. But buying this hurricane target was a great choice. My other friends that have botten other targets weren't all that great. They would become faded and the arrows would penetrate both sides at times. This target is really big and pretty heavy at 35 - 40lbs and it'll stop anything in its path. I shoult a 60 lb bow and the arrows only penetrate about 3-4 inches. I wouldn't hesitate using this target for a crossbow even. What I also loved about this target is that one side comes with 9 hurricane bullseyes to shoot at, and the other side has a dear with vitals (heart and lungs). The 2 sided capability of this target is great for changing things up every now and then. The only bad thing I noticed was that after hundreds of shots the holes aren't closing up as well as they use to, but that was expected with how many times this target has been shot. I know this target will last me many years. Its a great buy!

I shoot around 50 pounds. My wife shoots somewhere around 32. This bag stops the arrows with about 1/6 penetration. Pulling the arrows out is super easy. We used to shoot straw bales. Never again. We keep this target bag inside, in the garage. We take it out to shoot and put it away when we are done. Easy. The two target faces make for a nice variety. We play different shooting games as a family and we use the "vitals" side and the multi target side about equally. With a bag this size, you must make sure that you are shooting from a distance within your accuracy tolerances. Because of the size of the smaller targets, you can shoot from a closer distance practice your groups. If your groups are too tight at smaller distances and you worry about shooting your nocks and busting your arrows, you can move back. Currently, I shoot comfortably at about 33 yards when I'm by myself and when our family shoots, we shoot from around 20.It's a great bag. I expect this one to last a long time, but I will definitely by another when this one wears out.

I was very happy when I shot my first cross bow arrows into the Hurricane target. It stopped the arrows easily, penetrating about 8 inches. The reason I went to this bag target was that being older, I could no longer pull arrows out of my conventional solid target. My 6'4" very strong son also had trouble getting them out of my old target. With this Hurricane target I can pull out the arrows with one hand easily.....! After examining the arrow holes,it appears that it will last a long time. I don't shoot 10 to 30 arrows a day into it as I did at one time. It will likely last for years. I made a very simple stand for it to get it up higher off the ground, though it sits very well on the ground and is not affected by the high speed arrows. It took an hour to make a stand. The August or September issue of Field and Stream has an article on building a very fancy bag target stand complete with a roof.Though a cheaper and smaller bag of a different brand is available from Walmart it appears to be not nearly as good. I felt the price for this bag was very good, much less than solid box type targets. The Hurricane is very solid, seems well built, and is strong. I highly recommend this target bag especially for those shooting crossbows and other very fast bows.
