I had to put 1 shoe in each cubby which limited the number of shoes to half of what I expected. If you wear ballet slippers then you're in luck, each pair of shoes will have a cubby. We're back to the wording, "fits up to 24 pairs". So each crate holds 6 pairs of shoes. I wear a ladies 6.5 so it's not my big feet. The crates look nice but can't be stacked because they are not very deep probably another 1.5 - 2.0 inches might help.'

The cardboard was not easy to insert. Tore the siding a bit.

These are too small to hold a pair of adult shoes. If they are not flat ballet slippers, each shoes needs a slot. Very misleading but I am tired of sending stuff back to Amazon so I’ll be using it to store clothes under my bed.
