If you have the inclination and time to avoid quickly replacing stuff that breaks, then we both know why you are looking at this component. These are real good IGBT transistors, and can save form the landfill an otherwise perfect inverter or other module using such components. I found these to be a replacement for a long shelved broken inverter, and I can tell they work without a hitch. In my case, these are oversized, I need nowhere close to the 40A current rating, so how well these may work at 40A is one thing I cannot attest to.
