I utilized this wall plate to connect Cat. 8 ethernet cables to my network switch and wired ethernet ports throughout my home. Installation is super simple, with each connector having the appropriate female jack on both sides of the wall plate. The installation is literally plug and play.I should note that the connectors are rated as Cat. 7, but since my network switch is only 2.5GB per port, it makes no perceivable difference in speed. I had an amazing ethernet latency of 3ms using a TP-Link BE550 Pro Wifi 7 enabled Router and my 2.5GB TL-SG108-M2 TP Link Network Switch.

Works great, but does not work with an electrical box, just a wall opening.

Product works perfectly so far. Have not done any testing but it seems to work just as well as hardwiring it directly, no drop in network speed.

Worked great for my new Reolink NVR POE CAT6 cables. Very happy with this product. Easy to install and use, and quality feels great. Just pay attention to the instructions for how to properly insert the keystones, or else you could do it backwards and break it.

Easy install. No fancy cable wiring that you have to do, just plug and play. Only thing that's missing is diameters of the plate but after measuring it I got it in perfectly.

These wall plates are perfect for replacing existing ones that have an RJ45 connector on the back side. If your installation has cables that are punched down into the back side, either you can put ends on your cable or get a different product. These are marked Cat7, but my network is composed of legacy cabling and I won’t be taking advantage of these improved capabilities. The price is on the higher end of what’s out there, but it’s not totally off base.
