They feel sturdy enough, and the sight picture is good for $30. I have not shot with them yet, but the adjustments have a nice click and the sights require a button press to deploy and return to home. If they suck when I actually use them at the range I will update my review. Also if they wonder I'll put some locktite on the adjustments.

Nice sights, made from metal no plastic. Good materials and decent spring tension. Everything needed to install comes with package. No tool to adjust front site elevation so had to come up with my own plan, got my site adjusted and aligned. The fit is good and tight. Wish I could adjust/lock the adjustment down where I have it zeroed, I will know for sure once I go to the range and try this out to see if it holds zero.

I was on the fence about buying such a cheap canted iron sight but for the price it holds up. Holds zero after 400 shots and I constantly use it alongside my 3x scope that I have. I would give it less then 5 stars as the build quality isn’t perfect but that’s a bit nitpicky and it does deserve 5 stars for what it costs. Anyway I like it so much I’m getting one for my 5.56 rifle so we will see how it holds up. Nothing beats the ability to can’t sideways and take quick accurate shots through an iron sight.

These inexpensive 45 degree sights are fairly sturdy, however the rear sight wobbles a bit so it will not hold an accurate zero for any distances past 25 yards. HOWEVER, as a backup CQB iron sight or short range hunting sight, these work perfectly fine out to 25 yards or so. You can also probably shim these sights so that they don't wobble. I'll probably do this as everything else on the sight is well built and very sturdy and I do like using iron sights for longer range shooting sometimes. So overall they are not the best 45 degree sights you can get, but they are certainly not the worst. They are worth about what you pay for them and ARE usable for emergency short range purposes. I use these on my general purpose AR-15 that has a Vortex LPVO optic. So while I can use the LPVO optics at 1x, in an emergency, I'd likely not have time to flip down the lens covers and would have to rely on these backup iron sights. For that purpose it works just fine. The only thing I changed was that I painted the front sight post florescent orange for a much more rapid sight picture acquisition. I do that on all my home defense firearms which makes a big difference. But yeah for the price, these are I think well worth getting and checking out for yourself if you own an AR-15.

This is my first review on Amazon and it's almost a year and a half after the purchase. When I purchased these sights it was because I wanted backup sights to the long range scope for an 18" Palmetto build. I purchased these sights because they work the same way as what I learned in Marine Corps boot camp in Camp Pendleton. When I installed these sights dialing them in was an after thought compared to the scope, I settled for it hitting a steel silhouette at 100 yards. Since then I have pushed these sights out to 250 yards on an 8"x10" steel target.The reason I decided to leave this review is because to this day I have yet to make an adjustment to these sights. they are still set exactly where they were when they were first delivered. I've played with the rear sight elevation, but I have yet to actually make an adjustment for elevation or windage. I also bought their mlok flashlight with remote that sits on a 8.5 Palmetto .300blk build. I bought the flashlight because of these sights and because it had a coupon for a brass catcher (I've been hand loading for about a year and a half).I'm sold. These sights are perfect. I'll admit that I should probably have a 45* micro red dot for a backup for close range and speed of target acquisition, but if I really thought that would help I'd try reverse the effects that the last decade of drinking and laziness has done to me since I left the Corps...

I looked for a quality 45° RTS (Rapid Transition Sights) and found the following:. They were either crazy expensive, or really poorly made. Until I tried this set.Admittedly, I don't use my rifle for anything "Real", I like to set it up as if I did (As nut'n says, Second kind of cool). This set of sights was a shade heavier than expected, but solid. Fit and finish are very nice, they feel well made. Satisfying click on the rear sight knob. Fairly wide front post, which I painted blaze orange.Bottom line, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
