Festool Beech Tenons are made from all-natural, solid Beech hardwood for strength and stability. The Beech Tenon serves as a true floating tenon in mortise and tenon applications such as furniture, cabinetmaking, casing and frame work. The flat, elongated design will not rotate, ensuring perfect alignment for both edge and face gluing. Suitable for both plywood and solid wood applications, the dense beech tenon will not expand or telegraph through material, leaving you with clean, flat, and consistent surfaces. The Domino Tenon is embossed with glue pockets, and is approximately 2mm shorter than nominal length, allowing space in the mortise for glue. Beech Wood, 4 X 17 X 20mm, 450-Pack.

WE USE BOXES AND BOXES OF THESE EACH YEAR. WE ALWAYS BUY GENUINE FESTOOL DOMINOES AND THEY ALWAYS FIT AS THEY SHOULD. THESE ARE JUST LOOSE TENONS SO THERE ISN'T MUCH TO GO WRONG, BUT IT CERTAINLY ISN'T WORTH HOLDING UP THE SHOP TO SAVE A COUPLE BUCKS TO FIND OUT THE GENERICS ARE JUST A TOUCH OFF. THESE ARRIVE QUICKLY, AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN CONSISTENT IN SIZE AND QUALITY. FESTOOL DOES A PRETTY GOOD JOB WITH THEIR VENDORS MAKING SURE YOU CAN PREDICT THE PRICING MONTH TO MONTH, REGARDLESS OF WHERE YOU BUY THEM.

Würde ich nicht wieder als Rückläufer kaufen, Tüte innen war nicht einmal wieder verschlossen worden, war völlig aufgerissen und es fehlten Domino Dübel. Kann mir vorstellen, der Erstkäufer hat nur einige benötigt und den Rest zurückgesendet.

These loose tenons (dominos) are made for use with the Festool Domino and give the user a precise fit. They are ideal for indoor projects that are assembled with loose tenon joinery. The dominos are sized to allow room for glue in the mortise and have glue splines along the length to assist with maintaining a strong glue surface during project assembly. Note that the dominos may tend to swell if exposed to high moisture, so they are best stored in a closed bag, jar or similar container.

I think that if you are purchasing these you have already bought into the Festool brand. I have the multi-pack systainer and go through these atleast once a month. Nice to know the refills are easily accessible at what is an arguable acceptable price all things considered. We all know these maintenance costs were part of buying into Festool! Can't believe I used to use a router and make my own tenons. So many hundreds of hours have been saved and converted to billable hours. Worth it. I did find this pack to be a little softer in comparison to previous Festool tenons I've used. notices some chipping/splintering off when inserting them which is abnormal in my experience.
