Domino fasteners work with the domino XL (df 700) joiner to create Fl at or corner joints. Corner and Fl at connectors provide simple and Quick connections without the need for templates or complex measuring. Colored cover caps provide high-quality corner connection appearance. Available as a set and individual components. Requires 14mm Cutter. Fast - Quick and simple machining processes for Rapid assembly of Flat and corner joints. Allowing for Rapid building, moving, and reassembling of large pieces. Stable - based on the domino mortise-and-tenon principle, joints benefit from the design of the oblong mortise, mating tenon and the knockdown metal fastener is robust with high connection strength. Quality kit, but mostly paying for the reusable systainer. Would be nice if they offered a bigger one that was more equipped but such is life.

Not going to discuss value, as we all know individual value is to each of us. Good starter set. I have the 500 and 700 kits. Depending on what you intend to use for components could determine if this is the right mix for you, but if you're new to dominos, looking to experiment, this is what you need. My only complaint is that the bins could use covers because if you knock this kit over when open, which I did once, it's an absolute nightmare to organize the million bits.

Great set for knock down or bulky pieces. I used these on a countertop install and the mechanical dominos pulled the joints together like they where clamped.

The 8mm connector system for the baby Domino is plenty stout for most applications like cabinets, book cases and the like. These big guys are perfect for big stuff like bed frames. I bought these to repair an antique wardrobe where the old brass connector hardware is in rough shape and made the process painless. The instructions are nothing more than a handful of pictures so they are really easy to follow. This connector system adds another level of versatility to the Domino and that helps ease the sting of Festool's crazy high tool prices.

I have not purchased this set yet, but I've used the connectors and we have a few of these sets floating around our shop that others have bought. The connectors are simple to use, and they create a super strong joint when used properly. The set seems to be a good value, you'll end up using, and needing everything in it. Thanks Festool for finding more ways for me to spend money.

Just received today. No instruction manual included. What's worse is I can't find any instruction on the Festool website. Very disappointing.
