This crimper is great. It simplifies wiring projects and eliminates frustrating stranded wire issues. It is sturdy. The ratchet mechanism works great. It handles a good range of ferrules. Definitely a must-have.

This tool has minimal uses for me but I love it. No more landing bare wires under screw terminals!

Successfully rewired an entire backyard landscape lighting project with this crimp tool. Used in combination with a cheap set of ferrules also from Amazon, I extensively used this with 14, 16 and 18awg wiring and insulated ferrules throughout the project without issue.Resulting crimps were tight and I couldn't pull them off at all. Included a photo of two test crimps I did on 18 awg.
