I recently purchased this pump and it works well. I love how quiet it is and the size. I originally bought another pump, but it was too loud and big for the space I needed it in. The only add ons I would suggest for this pump is more pressure on the water transfer and an off/on button, but overall it works well and does as intended to do. Overall, I'm pleased.

it is a nice quiet pop, although has no head pressure or suction at all it must be laid flat from one bucket to the next bucket other words it will not work right and very, very slow.

Worked really well, once. I ran clean water through it to clean out any sticky wort residue, took it out to use the following brew day, and it's nothing more than a paperweight.

Simple, budget friendly chugger style pump. Moves wort well, assuming it is plumbed in correctly!I bought this to circulate wort through a chiller, recirculating in the tun and transferring to the fermentor. After receiving the pump I immediately disassembled the pump head. The head is metal, so that is nice, but the machining is rough and could probably do with some cleanup. I didn't notice any metal particles left over but I thoroughly cleaned and rinsed the head prior to use in case there were shavings or machining oil.The instructions say it should be at least one foot lower than the outlet of the vessel, but I think I am closer to 9-10 inches and it does fine.I've recirculated starting with almost boiling wort for a few hours at a time, and I've even tortured it using a prefilter that got clogged and it still works (mental note, always put restrictions AFTER the pump, not before).

Due to the time it took to run the first test, we missed our return window. The product came with a faulty seal, which we discovered once we hooked up the pump. If the seller would like to connect and warranty the pump that would be a nice gesture.

This is a great pump. The only downside is there is no on off switch and it is controlled by the power cord. Other than that it works great. I have used it multiple times now and no leaks or issues. It is not self priming so keep that in mind but those usually cost over $200 so as long as you have a little bit of gravity the pump works great.

So I already own a chugger pump, the expensive gold standard for homebrewing, so do not take this review lightly. It is QUIET. ABSOLUTELY QUIET. I forget it's running sometimes. I have it slaved to recirculating my HLT, it happily pumps 170 degree water for hours with no issue. It is less powerful than the chugger pump, but not by enough to make a difference on my horizontal system. If you're using a tower setup it may have some difficulty pumping from bottom to top, but it's the only situation I see it having problems. This pump is more than worth the money.
