These are pretty nicely made! We use a lot carbonated water for home made soda, so these are really handy and money saving. That said, as other reviewers have noted, watch your pressure and keep it under 60 PSI. These are still plastic and the o-rings aren’t super solid. For under $10 a pair, they are worth a try!

Yes, these are great when they fit properly. However, I bought three packs of three, and two of the nine had a serious issue. Other reviewers must have had the same issue with theirs. So there are two sources for these, or one of their molds is bad, or something, since most of them seem to be okay. The issue is that the inner threads were too thick on the two bad ones, and they went too far down on the inside of the cap. This makes them bind up and there is no way to close them tight so they never seal. I was able to kind of get them to work by grinding off a couple rows of the threads with a Dremel tool, so they kind of work but still not perfectly as they still tend to bind up, but they barely work now. This makes it difficult to want to buy more since they are not reliable.

They work well, but I'd advise to mind the 60 PSI limit, which is in fact specified on the product listing. Let's just say that I went significantly higher than that and blew the top off one cap. Oh well, it can still work as a hose barb and I now have an extra inner o-ring. Having some extras of those in the package would have been nice, or at least knowing the size to easily find replacements.A minor issue I noticed is that the balls from the ball lock tend to dent the top of the caps upon disconnect. That might also be a side effect of using a high pressure that caused the disconnect piece to separate with some force and speed.

I started to go straight for the stainless steel ones, but I’m not made out of money. I got this four-pack to see how they work and also because four bottles is what I can fit in on one shelf of my refrigerator door. So far, so good! I don’t know how long they’ll last, but they fit my 2L PET bottles fine with no leaks and I can just keep them on the bottles to keep them carbonated but ready to give them another hit of carbonation if so desired. A quick connect from the CO2 fits these perfectly.

********************** UPDATE: *******************Originally left a poor review since none of the carb caps in the pack seemed to hold a seal. One of the customer service reps from the company got a hold of me and sent a replacement that worked perfectly. The carbonation can hold just like it should now. I must have just had a defective set of caps.Glad these ended up working in the end as a cheaper alternative to more expensive metal caps

I use them to make carbonated water and they do a great job. There are a number of UTube videos that explain the process. I would add, I found that keeping the carbonation cap on the bottle until you use it gives the best results. That in mind, buying them in the multi packs will allow you have a number of bottles ready to go . I am also a home brewer and I can very easily see how I can use them to carbonate a beer that did not carbonate properly. Great item to have. I plan on purchasing another set
