Does exactly as I need it to ; it keeps the bugs out and lets me have much needed fresh air! I have heavy hung windows that close vertically and there's no net to keep out bugs and small animals but this product has done the trick. This screen is strong enough to hold my hung window open and I have not had any issues.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. There was a small gap on top I wiggled it around and got that flush. I don't know if it's just my old window or if it does it with others, it looks like there is a small gap on the bottom. Pushing on it seems sturdy. I bought this one specifically because my window doesn't stay open on its own so this is great. Most critique is I wish they had a single option instead of buying two.

Having moved into a first floor apartment in a Victorian house recently, which I now share with my indoor cat, I was desperate, with the warmer weather coming for some air flow for her and me, while keeping her safe. Result!! Hurrah for such a clever, no fuss, easy to install piece of kit. I’ve just ordered more!

I wasn't sure I'd like these since they have to be set in place each time you use them but these have been way better than expected. My rental house doesn't have screens but I want the fresh air! With cats in the house, I was nervous if these would be strong enough for me to feel comfortable with the cats leaning against them or pawing at them.The extension is super convenient. In my photos you can see a large window with my cat, the screen is extended greatly to fit across the whole thing. It easily slides along its built in track to extend to the right size. It also fits in the smaller bedroom windows just fine. The only windows it doesn't fit in my house are skinny bay windows.Just place it in the frame of the window, and close the pane down on top of it. It pinches it in place securely within the tracks. I feel comfortable enough to leave it open all day with no concern that my cats could somehow push it out of place. I've been using it for several months now and they're not showing any wear or damage. The only thing I've noticed is that due to my very dusty desert climate, the tracks have gotten rougher over time and it's less easy to slide it open and closed with one hand.

I have window screens, but also cats that like to stand on them and I lived in fear that they’d push the screen out and take off. I bought these for their 4 favorite windows, so now they’re double-screened and I worry no more! They slide open/closed and are very well-made. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We bought these because our cat likes to sit in an open window, but I didn't trust the flimsy screens in the big windows of our old house to be sturdy enough to prevent her from falling. As a result we could only crack our windows open an inch or two when the weather was nice.I got these 15" inserts and they work great! They seat into the tracks of the window which makes them feel very sturdy - I can press quite a bit on them and they don't budge, even moreso once the window is closed down on top of them. I don't worry at all now if our cat were to lean a bit of her weight on it, and it feels safer knowing these are acting as a "first line of defense."Luckily our cat doesn't try to escape windows, climb them, or claw at them, so I can't speak to the durability there. The screens do feel a bit thin so I imagine a determined cat could slice through them.They're very easy to take in an out and they work just fine for what we needed them for.

My cat loves sitting in front of an open window. A couple of times she has seen birds, or a squirrel and lunged toward the screen of my window, and I noticed that she had started putting little holes in the screen, and I was afraid that eventually she could shred the screen and claw her way out of the house. I have a two-story house, so the second story escape would cause a lot of injury to her, and eventually, I would have to purchase new screens for the windows. So I purchased a couple of these little removable screens, and they sit right in the windowsill, and I bring the upper part of the window down and secure them. So it gives a layer of protection between my cat and the regular screen and the outdoors. These are very well-made, they are width adjustable, and the screen on them is very strong and durable. I feel much better about her, sitting by the window, and since I have installed these, she has not lunged or clawed toward the screen either. I am very happy with my purchase, and it seems to have solved the problem I was experiencing with her. Like I said, they are very well-made, heavy duty, and the screen is not thin or flimsy. I am so happy I discovered these, not to mention the extra layer of security/safety for my cat.

These are great! I have old ones that are smaller and not as good quality however when these arrived for my bedroom windows I was really impressed! They’re really good quality and it was super fast delivery. I’m really happy with my purchase!

Bought these after I found my cat squeezed out the window and was on the ledge 3 stories up. They work perfect for fast and easy for to windows that don’t have screens.I would definitely recommend them.
