These are identical to the modern Fender “witch hat” knobs shipped with the reissue mid ‘60s “black face” Deluxe Reverb Reissue (DRRI) amps and new American Pro II Telecaster Deluxe and Tele Custom, but they aren’t the same as the vintage knobs.First, the set screw is on the “1” instead of the “10”, and second, the white part of the number lettering is heavier/thicker than on the vintage knobs. This is probably by design, so the pre-CBS Fenders retain their value.

The knobs arrived quickly. They are attractive and match very closely the original knobs. Maybe the silver top is a little brighter but then maybe the older knobs just have a little aging on them! These DO NOT FIT the Fender Mustang III amp. The knobs will fit on the shaft but there are no little tabs inside the knob hole to stop the knob from just spinning on the shaft. I put a piece of shrink wrap on the shaft and it holds the knob a little better but not as it should be.
