Great easy drop in upgrade. Quick and easy. I opted for all short posts versus the staggered (3 talk 3 short) as the newer ultras and such have all short posts. My American Pro has 4 short and 2 long which may be ideal for keeping a similar break angle at the nut but the difference isn’t that much using all short. I have heard of some having issues with the D string popping out of the nut with a taller locking tuner. The issue would be that the string doesn’t wind around the tuner post like it does with regular tuners so the break angle is off a bit, more shallow of an angle. Anyways, these have worked great so far.

I own a variety of Fender and other locking tuners. They all seem to have good but different ways to perform same task. I like the modern look and screws on this to tighten. I think it makes both functional and nice looking on the Guitar.

Acheté pour une Telecaster mexicaine (Fender Player). S'adapte parfaitement à la place des mécaniques d'origine.J'avais initialement pris le modèle étagé (3 tiges longues / 3 tiges courtes) que j'ai avantageusement remplacé par celui-ci avec 6 tiges courtes, car:- avec une tige longue sur la corde de Ré, j'avais un buzz (corde trop haute par rapport au sillet), c'est corrigé avec une tige courte,- esthétiquement, c'est bien plus joli avec les 6 tiges de la même hauteur.Avec le système bloquant, la tenue d'accord est très bonne, c'est essentiel pour des mécaniques.Les mécaniques sont cependant livrées sans instructions sur comment installer les cordes. La méthode recommandée par Fender (dans le manuel livré avec les guitares), est la méthode dite 123345, que vous trouverez en tapant "locking tuners 123345" dans votre moteur de recherche préféré.Je recommande donc ce produit pour une guitare Fender compatible.

The are great for the Strat HSS Player Series. Remember to check which tuners you need. Some Strats have 2 longer pegs for the Low E and A, and on some all of the tuners are the same length. So check your Strat first -before ordering. These should fit into the pre-drilled peg holes on the back of the head (otherwise I would not redrill and return, or have a professional Luthier do the work).

This is my 2nd order of these exact tuners. The 1st set is awesome. Great value for the quality. Only gripe, if you want to call it that, is that you have to drill 2 small holes per tuner to accommodate the nipples that keep them from turning vs. a screw down type. It does make for a clean looking install but was a little more challenging to line up and drill perfectly. Would recommend for sure. The seller shipped fast too.

Install takes all of 3min. It really is a “must have” for your Strat or Tele. Unbelievable how great they work keeping you in tune, especially if you use a tremolo.

The work great. I have always bought Grover's for aftermarket tuners but seeing as how no major company sells drop in replacements that don't involve drilling the headstock I thought I would try these. They are an improvement over the originals on my standard for sure, but I wouldn't say they're as tight or slop-free as a Grover. Overall good purchase.
