The plain black posts create a sleek look but are much thinner than other posts we've used. We bent two just carefully driving them into the ground.

These posts are a lot easier to use than heavier duty ones. Most of the places where these needed to be were soft enough that I could set them in place by stepping on the anchor fins. The post driver felt like overkill when these could be tapped in with a hammer. You have to be more careful not to bend them if they aren't going in straight, while the heavy posts are hard to bend even deliberately.As long as the measurements of the fence material match up with the measurements of the metal tabs shown in the description, these don't need any clips or wire to attach the fencing like the others. Fencing drops into the tabs then they can be bent to hold it in place. These even have holes at the top that make them easy to use as sign posts.

Interesting that these are black but I've found that actually "disappears" better than the more common green painted ones. These are plenty sturdy for light tree staking and/or fencing.

Living in the country, I am always finding uses for metal fence posts of various sizes. These are quality posts, though I would describe them as medium duty instead of heavy duty.My use for these is to string up some garden fencing to keep the rabbits and other critters out. I used a post driver to drive them, and they went in the ground as easy as others I’ve used. The finish seems durable. Overall, a good quality post that is adequate for my use.

These fence post work great for building a fence around my garden to protect my plants from animals. They are easy to drive into the ground and can support a 3ft fence.
