Definitely splash out a few more dollars on a nice version. The foam on this one is not well cut and is weirdly rock hard in some places

I've definitely put effort into making my small home office stylish. This felt board is a real find in keeping useful things aesthetically pleasing. The main part of the board is soft gray felt surrounded by a lightly colored faux whitewashed wood looking material. The board comes with 3 sets of letters, numbers, common symbols, and emojis in black, white, and dark gold. There are duplicates of common letters which is helpful for composing messages. It also comes with a set of cursive days of the week & months, as well as a set of extra cute add ons (arrows, hearts, stars, and a few celebratory words). All in all, this is a great deal at $10 at the time of order.

This was amazing when it was finished, but it took almost 3 hours to detach the letters, #s, and symbols from the plastic holders! That's with enlisting my husband and father to help me. At first we were twisting them off, then we decided to cut them, but you have to be careful or you can damage them. After I had trimmed them all, I separated them into Ziploc baggies by colors, and placed the baggies into a larger Ziploc bag. It's nice that they give you multiple colors, but the white is definitely the easiest to see and the gold being the least visible. If you can get past the initial tedious time investment, it's actually a pretty neat message board. I got this to go in my nautical themed guest bedroom. I like to decorate with inspirational messages that encourage others, and I picked a verse about water as I have a giant whale that says, "Welcome," above the bed. Although I'm using mine for house decor I could see lots of uses for this...leaving notes to family, sharing a personal message with a loved one, at an office, holidays, special events, menu listing, etc. I like the colors and the list price is affordable. If they could have the stuff already cut out or make it easier to separate it would be 5 stars easy.
