The drivers side worked perfect! But the passenger side is way to thick. Don't see any way to make it work. 2004 dodge dakota 4.7lUpdate: so after talking to a representative at felpro they informed me that this particular year dodge must have used left over parts. So even though amazon and all the part stores say that this is the set I needed for my truck it's actually wrong and you have to order one for an older model truck and you're just out the cost of the "correct" set that you bought. I feel like there should be some kind of notice in the item description or something. Because I mean there is nothing. Even the felpro representative said "yeah I had to do some digging to find this info, sorry" and when I searched the number he gave me and asked him if I'm just supposed to buy the one that says it doesn't fit my truck he kind of got sarcastic saying "yeah I just said that". The one you need if you have an 04 4.7v8 is actually 50521R it's going to say it doesn't fit but trust me no one is going to tell you the 04 one that says it'll fit might not.

Perfect fit for 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7. Be sure to place gasket on the correct valve cover. Look for the small tab on the gasket marked L or R. I would’ve marked it D for driver side or P for Passenger side to minimize confusion. Make sure tab is facing upward to insert gasket correctly for a proper fitting and seal.

It came with everything I needed to replace the valve covers, it even had the oil fill gasket included!!

Llegó bien empaquetado el artículo, en efecto como mencionan algunas opiniones está ligeramente más largo que donde va, pero al ser un material elástico se puede colocar un poco ajustado, al irlo colocando se puede aplicar un poco de fuerza y queda de lujo, el grosor del empaque es bueno, al apretar los tornillos queda muy bien sellado, anteriormente tenía uno que compré en autozone y si quedaba justo pero era muy delgado y no duró mucho y empezó a fugar aceite, lo recomiendo ampliamente.

I recently replaced the oem valve cover gaskets on my wife’s 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with these, and they worked great. It was a difficult job to accomplish, but the gaskets fit perfectly and did not leak, very happy with both the price and the quality.
