I bought this for my '78 JEEP CJ5 rear differential. It's the right gasket but it's slightly too large. This causes the holes to not match up and renders it useless.

Fit the AMC 20 rear differential on my 76 CJ7 perfectly. After 3 weeks still no leaks. I did not use any RTV sealant. In my experience, if you use any type of sealant with this gasket, it has a tendency to slip out of place when you tighten the cover bolts (even when you tighten them in a criss-cross pattern).

A perfect fit and a perfect seal. I glued the seal to the differential housing using 3M 8002 yellow weatherstrip and gasket adhesive, then used a thin layer of Permatex Ultra Black sealant on the other side before putting the differential cover on. 1,800 miles on it and no leaks. Go Fel-Pro!
