Works well and sealed well with the addition of a light coating of sealant on both sides of the gasket, bolt the intake and exhaust manifolds to each other, then set them on two bolts started into the head then slide the gasket in between, I found this to be the best way to install the gasket without damaging it on my carbureted 300cu 4.9L inline 6cyl

The gasket itself was perfect. But Amazon kept pushing it into a box the was at least 3 inches shorter than the gasket so it took a few trys before I got one that would work

I used this gasket set when I replace the exhaust manifold a couple years ago. No problems.

These gaskets are a perfect fit. It’s a one piece riveted together. You should not have any leaks if installed correctly. Make sure to install the metal gasket side against the exhaust ports of the head. The grey gasket material should be against the intake manifold. Comes with the 3 hole gasket which goes between the intake/exhaust manifold. Loosely install those 3 bolts/Studs first. Do not tighten up. Install the intake/exhaust to the head first. Always start tightening the inside/center bolts by carb area first and work your way out the the ends. Snug up first then go back and tighten the center bolts again to specs and work your way out to the ends again. Once tightened then tighten the 3 bolts/studs that hold the intake/exhaust together to specs. After driving vehicle for awhile, maybe an hour or two then recheck all bolts and make sure there snug. They can sometimes use another minor torque after the gasket gets hot and sets/seats.
