Perfect fit. No overmold rubber to be removed. Simply open package and place in groove, seals immaculately.Hope I don't need to replace another thermostat, but if I do I'll be getting another of these.

Instead of buying the whole thermostat I purchesed just a gasket it is very easy to instal and it seals perfectly.
