I was looking around Amazon and I came across this little gizmo. Seeing as it was as cheap as it was, I thought what the heck, it's probably a piece of junk, but for that price, I'll take a gamble. I ordered it in, and when it came in, I was surprised at the weight, the little runt is very hefty for what I was expecting.I checked it out, and everything was exactly as described, I also bought some extra laminating film. I tried it on a Birthday card my Mom got. (Two very cute puppies) It was perfect. There was a little bit at the side that did not adhere, but that is par for the course with 99.9% of laminators out there.Next up was a new set of Dutch Blitz cards. (These are just heavy cardboard and the nature of the game will destroy a deck in a single game) I laminated all 160 cards without a hitch and every one of the came out perfect. I was very happy with the outcome and now the cards have an extended lease on life.It's very easy to use and the temperature is fully automatic. There is a cycle time that the machine will shut off, but I was able to do all 160 cards with only one power down. The outcome of the cards was well worth the time and money. Had I known this machine was going to perform this good, I would have bought one years ago. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought it in September and after the first use of it, it broke. The sheet got stuck and got all scrunched up! I was unable to take out the sheet. I would not recommend this item.

The first try worked OK. The second jammed and had to take it apart to remove the corrugated sheet. Since then have put a few through without a problem. It laminates good with no air bubbles.

This laminator is very nice. It is perfect for laminating stuff for the office & personal use.•PLEASE READ the INSTRUCTIONS before you use it. I didn’t and I ended up putting the wrong end of the laminating pouch into the laminator & it jammed. I had to unscrew the machine & get it outs•If your paper gets jammed it’s not the end of the world. Again, unscrew the thing machine and take your jammed paper out. It’s no biggie.Over all I am loving it!

As a family science museum, we purchased this unit in June 2016 to laminate membership cards- we laminate about 40/50 per month. Six months into our purchase, the heating coil in our unit stopped working, so we contacted Fellowes. Several e-mails and many questions regarding our usage later, we were sent a replacement unit. Unfortunately, the replacement arrived damaged- a crack on the silver casing, which we could overlook if we weren't overwhelmed by the burning smell this unit gives off when you turn it on. Fellowes attributes this "smell" to using non-Fellowes brand pouches- strange because the Q & A listing for this item states that any brand pouch can be used -Fellowes QA answered on June 30, 2016. Unfortunately for our members and guests, this unit did not work out and Fellowes "year" warranty comes with many stipulations and hoops that as a small museum we can no longer spend the time jumping through.

This is an AMAZING laminator for this price point! It takes right at 4 minutes to heat up which is not an issue for me and my purposes. Once heated up it works like a champ, quietly and quickly laminating 8 1/2 x 11 sheets without issue. Smaller sizes also go through with no problem. The only thing keep me from giving this 5 stars is that often when putting full sheets through the very end will bend. This is not a huge problem if you catch it while it's still hot as you can easily flatten and smooth it out. If you don't catch it quickly enough you can either trim or put it back through to rewarm it. This issue is more of an annoyance than anything else. I've not had any bubbling anywhere in the laminate on the dozens of sheets I've put there thus far.
