This product has some great reviews and was easy to use with the diffuser, I was a bit skeptical on be pricey for amount received, but our cats have really calmed down since we have placed this around the house.

I'm giving this 5 stars because I noticed a difference in my cats within a day of using them for the first time. The fighting stopped and the bullying stopped. The anxiety symptoms went away. There was a noticeable calm in the house and it was great. Fast forward a few months and it no longer works. We are right back to where we were before we started using it. I think cats develop an immunity to whatever kind you use. These may work again for us after we have taken a break from them. The thing is, they are crazy expensive and I have never seen a sale on them anywhere. It's a lot of money to spend, hoping that they will start working again. While they initially helped with fighting and bullying issues, they never did do anything about spraying problems. In all fairness, I haven't found a brand that has helped with that. As other reviewers have mentioned, these do leak oil. I haven't had oil on the floor or on the walls but the diffuser gets covered in it and then hair gets stuck to it. You have to wipe the diffusers off once or twice a week. Again, 5 stars because they truly worked better than any brand I have tried for the first 2 months. I wouldn't give 5 stars for longevity or for price. My cats have had a little break from Feliway Optimum so I would try them again, hoping for the initial result, if they ever go on sale.

This has calmed him down greatly. He just started having some anxiety after I was away longer than anticipated. He was pulling his hair out! My daughter recommended this to me and it was awesome. Worked fast. It's just costly.

My cat was badly abused when she was a year old. I've been using Feliway for years and it really helped my cat calm down. It's a great price and there is no smell. I've never had them leak.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product !!! First we got the inside of our house painted and with all the plastic etc up , this product calmed our cat !!!! Now we had to leave our house to have it tented for termites, in the hotel she wouldn’t come out of her carrier she didn’t eat or drink for 1 1/2 days or go use the litter box .. i remembered to get this , we plugged it in and kid you not after 1 hour she came out , she finally ate then after a while she drank then last night used the litter box … people … this is amazing … oh one more thing this helps with fireworks for our cat and we got the dog one for fireworks !!!

We have four cats ...three of them get along great, all girls, spayed and chill natures. Then I took in a much larger neutered male cat, and although he was a good cat , with me, he was bullying one of the girl cats and it was getting worse by the day. Not vicious, but invading her space, menacing her to the point where she was starting to hide and came out when he was not in the room, furtively glancing around to make sure he was not there. This went on for three weeks and I could see it was getting worse and she was jumpy, etc. No matter what I said to him, yelling, 'stop', putting him in another room, nothing worked. Then I recalled that many years ago, I had gotten this product that helped an older male cat ( neutered ) from spraying in the house, when he would smell the outside males, in the spring. So I got some again, this past week, and I was really shocked how quickly it worked. I got a bottle for each room in the house, plugged them in and within literally 30 minutes, the ' bully' was splayed out on his back snoozing with his feet in the air...and his bullying victim was in the same room, about three feet away, ALSO snoozing ! Its now been about four days and no fights, the bullied cat is now normal again, and the big bully has pretty much forgotten his bullying tactics and stopped all the nonsense. Peace restored ! Well worth it and as I mentioned, it also worked well to stop cats from spraying in the house ! if you have a particular problem, call their customer service and they will help you with instructions...they probably have a good website, too.

Bought this first from a local retailer as they had a money back guarantee. It worked so well for my newly adopted rescue kitty. She scratched furniture less, hid less, and just came out of her shell. When it ran out we noticed her being a little naughtier so bought this refill online. Seems to take the anxious edge off for our furbaby!

I had seen these for years and was always VERY skeptical of their effectiveness. However, ever since moving into my prior apartment I had noticed that my timid, shy, more skittish middle cat was even MORE anxious and prone to hiding and I was further worried because I was going to be moving again soon. My mum suggested giving these a try, so I but the bullet and bought the starter set. VERY quickly I saw improvement. No it didn't magically make him an extroverted, bold cat, but he was hiding less, it didn't take as long for him to come out of hiding when someone visited, and he was acting less skittish. When we moved it was still VERY difficult, but I had installed one (I bought a second one) in the new apartment, and he had a MUCH easier transition and settled in MUCH more quickly. I've noticed some improvement in some bag behaviors with my other two cats as well!When the starter sets were running out I looked for the most cost effective way to get refills, which this turned out to be the best option. I'm EXTREMELY happy with this product and recommend it to anyone who has anxious/timid cats and cats who struggle with change who are going to have to deal with a big change, like a move. If you're moving and want to try these, I recommend having it in your current home for at least a month, then install one in the new home at least the night before you move into it.As far as scents or other concerns, I have never noticed any scent, I do recommend that you install it somewhere that doesn't have furniture too close to it or under and overhang, I installed one in the plug under the ledge of my counter and found the oily residue on the underside of the counter and dripping down the wall to the plug, it cleaned up easily though. When you unplug it to refill it it move it, there will likely be an oily residue on it, I just wipe it off and wash my hands.Long story short, this product very much works!
