It is capable of performing large diameter pruning and trimming work, as required by arborists or in arboriculture. This new range of FELCO folding saws has been designed to meet the needs of professionals. However, it is also perfectly suited for pruning in the garden. It offers several saw blade geometries, adapted to different pruning jobs: vineyard, landscaping, arboriculture or simple pruning. The teeth have been optimized to facilitate chip evacuation, while the chrome plating of the blades reduces friction and increases performance. The tip of the teeth is heat treated by impulse to increase the hardness and thus the longevity of the blade, while the handle has a soft touch coating offering a perfect grip and always keeping your hand in perfect position. All FELCO saw models are suitable for both right and left handed users.

This is a pull-saw for pruning to gauge all others by. It is an improved model over a decade back, works flawlessly, opens and closes effortlessly. Well-made. In fact so reasonable that after years of use it is almost as cost-efficient to buy a new complete unit than the replacement blade.

Die Klappsäge passt in die Meterstabtasche vieler Arbeitshosen und ist so immer dabei. Nur der Rücken der Säge, der auch im zusammengeklappten Zustand heraussteht, war mir zu scharfkantig. Mit einem Schleifstein entgratet: passt!

I got this saw to replace an older version.Great pull-saw but it seems the blade is apt to twist under hard wood.Older one was better/thicker metal I guess, but that's everything now-a-days.
