Best thing I ever bought my husband. He loves this tool, gets the job done with ease and is of superior quality. I would highly reckoned this tool to anyone looking to buy a perfect gift or add to your tool bench. Great Buy!

I've owned three generations of design in this multi-tool, this being the best with its quick release and snap-on blade head. Powerful and easy to handle/hold. Blades can be set in an array of angles.

I have only used the saw blades but the tool is very powerful and efficient. Its size and the fact that it is wired make it a little tricky to use in tight spaces, but it works effectively held at an angle. A really invaluable tool.

Read a lot of positive reviews before purchasing this tool. Given the price difference between this and lesser models I wanted to be absolutely sure it was worth the price, and if not- what features would be worth paring away to save money. I’ve used the HF cheapie that costs less than 1/4 the price of this unit and to say it was uncomfortable to use might be an understatement (definitely wouldn’t want to use that model for an extended time). It never felt super effective at what it was designed for but still allows you the utility of doing what other saws just aren’t really capable of, though that may have been the blade and not the tool. I was finally between this model and a green and black one that is also well regarded. I figured for twice the price, if this one lasts me a decade or more of DIY I’d never really balk at the difference. Let me just say I’m glad I picked this one. The only real draw back is the limited selection of blades due to the star lock design, but from what I understand that is a big part of what makes this unit so ergonomic in terms of controlled vibration. And just with the low vibration and noise level I’d say it’s worth going with this model. The soft start is also a nice touch, not only for comfort but for controlling your initial cut. I’d buy another Fein in a heartbeat.

Great tool, feins that are corded last forever. Annoying proprietary starlock system forced you to buy specific blades that are not as well stocked in my areas hardware store. Long power cord and storage bag comes with the set. Highly recommend just stock up on the blades unless your local stores sell starlock blades.

I’ve used wired and battery-powered oscillating tools before, and this tool is far better than any other oscillating tool I’ve ever used. It’s much quieter and far less fatiguing to use. Previously, I always needed hearing protection, or I felt exhausted from the noise and vibrations. Not anymore. This tool is powerful. It works much faster than my other oscillating tools ever did. I can cut and sand quickly.I didn’t find how the tool attachments worked to be intuitive the first time I put one on, but after the first one, now I think it’s easier to swap attachments.I regret I didn’t buy this device as my first oscillating tool.

Very solidly built, long cord, and great features like variable speed and soft on. This is a high quality tool that is worth the money. This thing cut through external window trim like a sharp knife through butter. The cost was a fraction of what a handyman would have charged to do the work I needed done. And I can use it again and again. The only negative is non-compatibility with older blades and the expense of newer proprietary blades. Avoid nails and the blades should last a good long time.

Which is why I bought Fein. It's a standup tool. The blades are pricier than the old style, fair to say, but I'm not sorry I bought it.

My first multi-tool was the original Dremel, and I gave it a favorable review here. Over time, though, it began to show its budget roots and eventually pretty much fell apart. That was a blessing really, because it was a very hot and noisy device that simply was not up to the construction sorts of projects I used it on.Now Fein's prices are so much lower that I just could not pass this up. I wanted the simple kit and will buy both Fein and Bosch attachments for it as I need them, for specific projects. They are indeed expensive, but are of good quality and there is a huge variety for all sorts of things. And in the end there is no good alternative for many of the jobs this tool is used for.Clearly this is a whole different beast than the light duty Dremel (I think they make a heavier duty version now). I experimented with all sorts of uses and it never got hot and the vibration is very low, a huge improvement. Clearly it has far more power and the soft start is appreciated. The cutting action itself is noisy, nothing can be done about that, but the 350 itself is quiet. It cut through some test pieces fast, just like the videos. Very impressive. The attachment process is a kick, so much better than the allen wrench approach. People complain that the old attachments are now obsolete and that is understandable. It should be noted that the attachment method and the claimed better performance wins out. I hate throwing out my old blades, but this system should be viable for many years and likely in the end be a better investment. The line-up of attachment options is bewildering. There are so many that even Amazon doesn't carry them all, yet at least. You really have to study the catalogue as it is the only half-way clear source of information of what is available and the various grades and uses. Most of us will not buy every single option, win the lotto first, but a few different attachments will do most every thing most of us want to do. And there are blades for specialty tasks and those who need those will be thrilled to have them.I was at first put off by the bag. How much is a plastic box anyway? But now I am happy. You know it takes 10 minutes to stuff the cords into the cases that come with tools. And the Fein has a really long cord. With the bag you can simple throw it in and be done with it. Actually a superior option for many of us. There needs to be a good little case to hold the attachments, at least the blades and sanding stuff. This is a quality product and I am glad I now have it, could have used it before on some tough projects.

Great tool, and the original patent owner... if you're a contractor working trim or finishing work, it's a must.
