Important to match the blade to the material to be cut, and also to not run the multitool too fast to burn the material or the blade. That said, they can last a long time.

By far the best value for money starlock multitool blades I came across.Lasts as long or even longer than the Bosch ones, but for much less to spend.I'll certainly be buying more.

I've used aftermarket blades to try and save money and come back to these OE products. While costly, they do provide value considering their longevity. Make sure you use the blades for their intended use! Easiest way to trash them is using them on materials they're not intended for.Tip: They come with a guide listing the materials they are designed to cut. I keep a copy in a clear plastic bag with my blade storage so I can check if needed and select the best blade for each use.I find the packaging impressive but would trade the fancy packaging for lower overall cost in a heartbeat.
