The bottoms of these are so slick they won’t do anything to prevent slipping for your kiddo that’s learning to stand or walk.

These have a thick sole that isn't too bendy, so there's some support for the baby feet. I would definitely categorize these as toddler shoes though, and not baby or infant shoes. I got the 6-12 months one, and they're still quite big for my 6 month old! I wish these were non-slip as advertised. I think the surface isn't as rubbery as I expected -- more like a plasticky cushioned sole.
