This product is incredibly sturdy and reliable. If you are handling heavy items like I do with hanging plants, this is the product you need. In the past, I struggled to find a durable hanger for my hanging plants. My wife always buys these large plants, and when I tried to hang them on regular plant hooks, they would pull the hooks out of the ground, and the plants would fall to the ground when watered.With this product, featuring long spikes and a sturdy build, it can easily hold plants weighing at least 10 lbs when watered. I am so impressed with this item that I purchased 5 more to use around the property.

I really like this Shepards hook for bird feeders. I got a pack of 2 and they were very simple to put together, very sturdy and very stable. You can make them taller or shorter depending on how many extensions you connect. They are pretty tall deterring squirrels from being easily able to jump into the feeders. It’s not a big deal but I wish the hooks extended a little further out from the pole. Other than that little detail, they are excellent and I may need to replace a few more of my Shepards hooks with more of these.

I needed these stands for my hummingbird feeders in my garden, and I’m extremely pleased with them. They took just a couple minutes to put together the pieces in the stand itself. It’s sturdy, easily holding the items I hung on it, wind doesn’t affect it, prongs in the bottom are short enough to go into any surface and long enough to hold securely. Very good price and very attractive. I’m glad I got two of them.

These shepherd's hooks really are a great concept. Love that there's multiple "tongs" on the bottom for better stability in the ground. Love that they come with either 1 hook or 2 (I got the one with 2). Love the IDEA of adjustable heights, HOWEVER, as other reviews have stated the higher the hook the less sturdy and stable it becomes. This leaves very little options to use a shepherd's hook for its original intent...bird feeders and hanging baskets. When I only had my hummingbird feeder it was ok; only a slight bend/give toward the top (I have it at its highest point to keep the neighbor's crazy cat away from the birds. But as soon as I put a hanging basket (literally the smallest I could find at 8") it REALLY started bending. Add water....well, it's a waiting game at this point to see if the thing buckles or snaps. If the design had a thicker pole then this would totally work, IMO. But it is small in diameter and the metal is a thinner gage.In conclusion, it would probably be a 5 star if on its smallest setting. It is as described, is really cute, the multi-prong base is a definite plus, it arrived quickly and was a good price. But the 3 stars are all I can honestly give when set at the highest setting unless you just want to hang light stuff (can't even think of what that may be...paper lanterns, maybe?). I'm sure more creative people can come up with all sorts of uses though.

If you want a smaller plant stand, this is the one to get. Sturdy, easy to set up, and holds three planters or whatever you use it for. Quality is good. I would purchase again.

It comes in sections which allows you to assemble different heights. Somewhat lacking support strength for heavier bird feeders. You need to match two feeders on each side for equal weight or you may experience some leaning.But all in all I would highly recommend.

When I was looking for shepherds hooks to hang my bird feeders, it was impossible to tell from the photos which ones would actually be well built. After checking reviews, I picked these. I can now confirm that THESE ARE WELL BUILT!!They are high quality: sturdy, solid, heavy weight (in a good, rugged kind of way). The base is bigger and stronger than I expected, so the hooks went into the ground evenly and straight, and I’m confident they will stay put. (Pro tip: I watered the ground first so it was easier to push them in!)Assembly was a cinch. The post pieces all screw together easily. They are cleanly threaded, so they went together in a matter of just a few minutes.They look like they will hold up well outdoors. If I have any issues with durability, I’ll come back with an update. But so far, I’m extremely happy with these.

These are really nice quality shepherd hooks!! Very heavy duty and easy to put together. They were also very easy to get in the ground. The design of four point base with two prongs stationary and two prongs that can be moved really make it easy to line these up and get them straight. I will say that these were so tall that we ended up taking off one of the pieces so the hook part was actually reachable without standing on something. I read a review saying these were shorter than expected so I went with the taller size and I can definitely say that if you need very very tall hooks, the 91 inch ones will deliver and yluer still feel completely stable due to how solidly constructed they are. I highly recommend these!
