I could not be more happy with this product! I have aSmall online boutique And my photographs were just not doing justice Products.Mannequin has made a world of difference. This was very easy to put together. No tools necessary. I move her around quite a bit especially when i'm changing her clothes And have to say that this mannequin is very sturdy. Another thing that I appreciate about this Product is that the height is adjustable. Very satisfied with this purchase!

Great product for the price. Wish it was a little more sturdy, but gets the job done.

Arrived in perfect shape! Very attractive dress form, compact, lightweight, easy to assemble. Now all I need to do is pad her up to make her my size (I'm using double-faced quilted batting) and begin to have fun with sewing projects. I may need to slip a dress form stretchy thing over her then. Very happy with this purchase.

I thought this was a great product for its price then we paid for shipping on top of the product. We unboxed it today and put it together to see that it doesn’t even stay up or stand on its own because the screw on the bottom is broken, or it was supposed to be glued to this piece of wood so that the stand legs wouldn’t come apart, but it’s not. We will have to make modifications and glue this thing so that we will be able to use it because we don’t have time to return. Depends on what you need this for, beware not the sturdiest.

When Isabella Rossellini informed Meryl Streep in the film "Death Becomes Her" to, "take care of yourself. You and your body are going to be together a long time..." the phrase should also apply to the Female Dress Model Display Torso Body I just purchased. I am not throwing SHADE, what I am stating is that the body is very light-weight, sturdy fabric expertly wrapped around styrofoam, but with a solid tripod stand. VERY easy to assemble, too. I plan to take heed to the fact that the body form is delicate and I'll try not to handle it harshly because I plan to stay with it for a long time! I am very delighted to have it!

The dress form is very lightweight and simple to assemble. An affordable option for displaying clothing or for someone who sews clothing for themselves or others. The stand is very lightweight and could possibly be easily toppled. Overall a nice dress form for the price.

This mannequin worked perfectly for my male Dragon Mannequin, and because it can be extended to have more height it was versatile in selecting how much taller I wanted the male dragon to be over his lady counterpart dragon. The mannequin itself is a hard foam, very light and does not interfere in any way with the stand's stability. Because my Dragon was fully dressed with extra weight than normal I screwed the base to a platform so Drago did not topple over. Otherwise, the mannequin is perfect for just your choice of clothing display. It is a good mannequin, very happy with what it provided to me.

It is extremely light weight and not the sturdiest, but none of them are. The top screws in, so no worries about it falling off. This one is made of plastic parts , not wood and the styrofoam torso does seem more fragile if it should fall hard. Overall for the price it is good !

No issues so far. I wish the stand didn't swivel so much but maybe thats a good thing for pinning etc. I can see I will really enjoy this. The body is for a petite women. You are to place padding to all areas, measure all areas when upsizing to other ppls sizes. Some pll have less room between their girls and their wasit. Take that into consideration when irdering and measuring. Measure neck to back wasit to bottom and youll love it. I learned that last night online. So I am very pleased with this. I will most likely order another. Dog stares at it alot lol thank you.

...and, I, after her.Let me start by getting these facts out of the way:• It arrived in perfect condition days earlier than expected• All parts were received in pristine condition, packaged carefully• Assembly was A Breeze...taking under 3 minutes. The mostly wooden frame has solid components that look and feel like professional price points.• This Mannequin is So Sturdy, I simply lift it by the waist move it around...which does not disengage the stand, nor, cause it to wobble afterwards, or, while using it.•All in all: you can't beat the price/value for having what amounts to a Very Proper Mannequin that's suitable for both sewing AND display. The BONUS here is that the styrofoam form definitely allows for it to be decorated/adorned...should that be your purpose. Now, back to my mom's old mannequin from the '50s. Although her stand was metal, by the time I got it its surface had pitted and rusted badly; it also wobbled. The wooden frame on this one is so eye-pleasing, wherever you put it looks more like a work of art than a utilitarian object. While that might sound a bit over the top, trust me on this...get it in black and it promises to be 'statuesque' Anywhere. As for my moms, its torso was a hollow frame that looked and felt like compressed cardboard...which 'wrinkled' a bit, forming creases/indents through time. Though it was still manageable, no way did it ever leave the sewing room to be displayed elsewhere. During prolonged humid weather, it would 'soften' enough to feel pliable. I've only added that because some of the mannequins I've seen for sale appear to have torsos of similar construction...which might be good points to take into account for the long-term when choosing to purchase a mannequin. As for its size, well, although it's not one of those uber-expensive adjustable ones...here's a few tricks for those using it as dress forms that might be useful:• Pad it...to make it more similar to the body shape you're working on• Placing a small, somewhat tight-fitting stretchy sleeveless shirt over it will allow you to 'tweek' the areas that need adjusting as you 'fill in' waist/hips/bust/shoulders under it.To expand upon that, old shoulder pads and bra paddings will quickly 'widen' some areas, while thicker items like sweaters 'dressed' under a tight sleeveless shirt will help transform this basic mannequin into a seamstress' dream. Personally, I've dressed mine in similar layers...then bound them with 6" x 15' medical bandages to 'reform' it to a suitable size, before placing an old black spandex-blend tank top over it... which now mimics the mannequin's original covering.Let me finish by reiterating all that in a nutshell: for decades to come, I'm pretty certain you won't be disappointed having purchased this mannequin! Enjoy!

I just got into fashion school this year and needed a dress form to drape fabrics for personal projects and this one is great for my first ever form! I've seen and used other forms and this is by no means the top tier of its kind - it's made of styrofoam with muslin covering the exterior - but it gets the job done (I sometimes have to step on the stand so I can put pressure on it without it tipping but otherwise it's awesome). I've tested pins and they slide into the styrofoam well enough and the muslin is also pinnable and sturdy. It's a bit smaller than the measurements listed (32.5"B, 25"W and 32"H) but that works for me because they're almost exactly my measurements, just be warned if you were hoping for it to be as listed! Recommend for either dress displays or beginner seamstresses.
