This roller chain breaker has quickly become one of my go-to tools for bike and machinery maintenance. It feels sturdy and well-made, giving me confidence that it won’t slip or break during use. Works great for any chain with the pitch from 0.750" - 1.250", so this is too large for most bikes, but will be fine for motorcycles, go carts, etc. Easy to use.

Used this for mending a link on a chain winch that was binding. I tried my old school method of using a screwdriver and channel locks: that didn’t work out so great. So I gave this a try and it’s the perfect solution. It had enough leverage to make it easy.

This works for larger chains. I'm not sure why it mentioned bicycle in the product description, as bicycle are #41 chain, and this will only do #60-#100. If you try a #41 bicycle chain, it will not work. Just be aware of your chain size. For larger chains thouch, it does hold them well and pushes the pin out easily. This is definitely better than trying to punch it out with a hammer and punch.

Super heavy duty and sturdy. Splits chain links easily. Well manufactured. I got this to use at work for conveyor belts and it is just what we needed. It makes our job so much easier.

This is my third chain breaker, and by far the best. The first two I bought a few years ago were a very different style, much more compact, and with a lot of interchangeable parts. They bent pins and broke very easily. This one is much more solid and separated the chain links with ease. Very simple to use, and serves is purpose well. If you have to work on bike chain often, this is the breaker for the job!

- Good quality considering the price point of $17- The add does say 60-100 chain and I thought maybe it was a different measurement than we use because the add also says for motorcycles pit bike and go carts. This will do bicycle chain and nothing bigger, the picture is next to 520 off a dirt bike and I also looked and is not big enough for even the chain on a CRF50.- This is really just a bicycle chain tool
