I'm surprised to see so few reviews on this.I had some very cheap soft racks that had naked metal buckles (dings your paint) and a cheesy logo on them.I then bought a well-priced but HUGE soft rack kit. It was intended for very large heavy loads and WORST OF ALL used one strap to hold the rack onto your car, and a SECOND STRAP to hold the load securely - which had to run inside your vehicle like the first rack. Overkill for a single surfboard or longboard.This rack is elegant, well made, has RUBBER COATED buckles which can't damage your car, and have one dedicated strap for attaching to the vehicle and a second one for pulling the board down dight (that is one of each straps per nylon-coated foam block).Very well done - a fantastic 'pro' upgrade to the standard cheap soft rack.
