Excellent value—I bought the largest watercolor tin (48/52 half-pans), and it is comparable to my smaller schmincke-branded tin in quality, which surprised me. It does indeed permit a row of horizontal half-pans in the brush channel, which just improves on the original design of these classic tins.I bought this to expand my set of half-pans by making room for half-pans from other companies and/or pans filled from tubes. The empty pans, though, are thinner and taller than schmincke pans, so while they all fit in the same tin together, I am too adhd/ocd to let that go.

This nifty metal palette delivers as advertised. It is well designed and sturdy. It holds all my favourite colours that I choose rather than prescribed by other name brands. The folding out mixing wells are generous and abundant so there is no fear of colour contamination. It also doesn’t leak when closed. A really good buy.

I bought a White Nights set of 24 full pans that came in a cardboard box. This was a great choice.I love that the tray of paints is removable. It makes cleaning so much easier. Pull out the paints tray and run the whole case under water. I wouldn't want a case without that feature. The metal tabs can be bent to stop all sliding around And, you can mix full and half pans. You can also move, swap and arrange the paints as you want.It feels a little flimsy (bendy) when open but after years and many uses, no sign of breaking. Closed, it is solid. It is much more space efficient than plastic cases because the metal is thinner.I suppose a much more expensive case is better (I wouldn't know) but this one has been everything I need it to be. And I saved money to buy better paints.

It’s ready for adding your own pans filled with your own paint tube pigments. Will accommodate both full and half pans. It’s lightweight, well-made and works for both studio use and travel. Mixing wells in the lids are generous for large washes if needed.Customer service from this company is great! Will order from them again.

I just received my FClUB empty, watercolor tin pallet case. It came in a amazon box with other things I had ordered. It was also in it's own well protected bubble rapped plastic envelope to protect it from being damaged during shipping. It has a sleek black exterior with a white interior. It comes with 28 empty full pans ready to be filled with your choice of water color paints. They are in a removeable metal insert with two roll of full pans at the top and two at the bottom where the pans clip or slide in. It also has room in the middle for a small brush or two. Not sure if you can put half pans there or more full pans. As I said the insert is removeable and you can slide the pans out if you want to customize your paints for a trip. It makes a great traveling pallet as well as a studio pallet. It has several areas to mix your paints other than the top lid it also has a fold out tray for mixing as well. It is easy to open and it is very sleek. It has a metal ring at the bottom of the tin for easy holding. Though once it is full of paint it will probably be a little heavy to hold for very long for those who has muscle weakness or Arthritics. There is nothing bad I can say about this product. I love the design and the customization of paint that it offers the artists. Would I buy again? Yes. Would I recommend to others? Yes. It is reasonably priced for under twenty dollars. Which is great for starting artist and artists that is on a budgets. I would like to see them add an options to by additional empty full or half pans along with this item not separately though but I would pay $20 to $25 for 10 or 15 more empty full pans that way it would allow more customization for artist. It would really help artists. By adding Watercolor from tubs to empty pans like these saves money that most artist may not have especially those that are just starting out. Cause art supplies especially good quality paints alone costs an arm and a leg. But other than having an option to order extra empty pans along with the 28 empty pan that is offered, would be great. I really love this watercolor tin holder. I hope that I get plenty of use out of it in the years to come. Would buy again and recommend it to any artist that wants on a budget. Thank you very much.

I love Derwent paint intense sets but the containers they come in are so bulky, too big! So from now on, instead of having two different cases; one for the 12 pastel colors and the 24 inktense...I just have one for all the colors in one. Case it's sturdy and came well wrapped. Arrived in perfect condition. Love it! I am saving space since I have lots of art supplies. Very convenient. Just what I needed. Perfect!

Love it! Even though it came in black color the pallet was amazing, arrived quickly and most importantly the quality is fantastic - I had 2 small pallets so combined the watercolors in one :) love it

This is my first watercolor pan palette, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I think it's pretty great for a low price option. I have the 24 full pan version and the pans appear to be quite secure and I had no trouble removing or inserting the several pans that I tried to do that with. It looks like I could technically get 4 more pans into the box, but that might make removing and inserting them harder. I still think it could be done, though. The packaging on mine was great! It came wrapped in about two layers of bubble wrap that was also inserted into a bubble mailer type envelope, and Amazon then shipped it in yet another bubble mailer. No dings or dents, and the palette opens and closes quite well. I doubt that it would be airtight, but I don't recall it being advertised as such. The painted surfaces do not have any scratches on them. I chose this one over another very similar looking item because the other one had reviews indicating sharp metal edges in the pan storage area. I do not see that with this one. The metal seems to be rolled well enough to prevent any injury with normal use. For the price, I really think this is a good investment and that I will get many, many years of use.
