So far, we love this faucet water filter that replaced our old Waterpik, which was banged up and I think they are about to stop making replacement filters for them soon. This stainless steel and chrome unit filters faster than the Waterpik or the Pur, Brita and Culligan we had before. Those were rated for 200 gal. or 3 months.. The Vortopt is rated for 500 gal. or 5 to 6 months. The replacement filters are cheaper too. Installation was quick and easy and the speed of the water coming out of the filter was almost as fast as regular water flow. Water tastes great. Good buy in any case.

Ive only had this for a week but so far it works great. I like the size of this product better than other filters I’ve tried that were bulky and since I have an over the sink dish rack the others would constantly hit the rack. But I don’t have a problem with this one. The box comes with different adapters to fit the faucet type which I appreciated . The filter comes wrapped in plastic so when you instal it make sure to remove the plastic wrapping from the filter which is already installed in the filter holder. I turned my faucet on and was confused to why only a few drops would pass through the filter 😅.Overall how it looks and how easy it was to install.

I don’t know what’s going on with the water in my local area. But I taste dirt even through the filter. I’ve been trying to figure out if I installed something wrong and tap water is leaking through? It was the very next day, I started tasting that dirt taste again. I can’t imagine this product being sold with a bad filter? Should I change it out and try one of the extras I bought with it?(Update)I changed out the filter it came with. So far it seems to be doing good after a couple days. No funny tastes. I think the first filter was probably just a lemon. The second one seems to be filtering out most of that swampy dirt taste I was getting before. I heard on the news that the river where my city gets the water source from, tends to grow algae during the warmer season and even though their equipment filters the water and it’s suoppose to be “safe to drink”, they was unable to do anything about the taste. But who wants to drink bad tasting water?So the second filter seems to be doing its job. I’m going to continue using this product. I hope it continues to work. It will probably be better now that the weather is changing and cooling down.
