If i could give it a ZERO star, I would. You can not access the broken tip from the front of the board without damaging the nearby holes

Easy to use but be careful how hard you press and when. Make certain you are lined up perfect. Other than that this works as advertised.

I know that is what she says......The tool works great for being smaller but it fits right in without getting another case to carry it in. for dart players get this tool to help out on them bar dartboards that have tips sticking out everywhere

This tool does a good job of removing broken tips. I was surprised at how hard I had to hit it to remove a tip from my Arachnid board. No damage to the board. Would recommend this to have on hand with your other dart accessories.

I have an arachnid cp900 and had a couple of tips broken off flush with the board. So I need something to punch these them through per the dartboard instructions. I read reviews of those that said it didn't work for them, but have it a shot. I made sure the tool pokes through an open hole which tells me it should work. From there, the reality is that the dart tips may be stuck pretty well in the board. I hoped I would just push them through, but that didn't happen. And like others I was a little concerned about pushing too hard. I realized that another tool won't be my answer as these were just stuck. So, I resorted to technique. I lined up and was sure I was in the slot and aimed at the tip. Do this by putting a little pressure on it to hold it in place. Then I gave it a pop with the heel of my hand on the back of the tool. A few good shots and it punched it through! I don't think I damaged the board but took a little leap of faith. So I'm not sure about those that day this doesn't work. It could just be stubborn tips and/or lack of technique vs. the tool.

Works ok, but it doesn't not pull out the tip, it pushes it into the electronic board... Wondering if it can cause failures at long term.

This tool isn't flawless, it does mess up and won't get every single tip out, but it does a pretty darn good job if you use it right.Line up the tip of the tool to the tip that's stuck in the board, lightly touch the tool to the tip, make sure the tool tip is pointed straight in, then give the back of the tool a good hard bump with your other hand. It'll eject the tip through so it'll fall to the bottom of the board. It worked for probably 16/20 of my busted tips, but the four it didn't get have been stuck in my board for years.

I rated it five stars because I can't find anything bad to say about it. Truth be told, the Fat Cat Rigel is such a fantastic product that thus far, I haven't had to use the dart remover.
