I bought these as I previously had a 5 gallon plastic jug, and a 3 gallon glass jug. The plastic jug often would give a plastic flavor, and the 3 gallons was so heavy to carry and then use to pour water out into a glass. I wanted 4 simple 1 gallon toxin free glass jugs. And, they are perfect! The right size so it's not too heavy or too aggressive when you are pouring the water out. They travel well when I take them for refills. No gross aftertaste! They are very sturdy as they clink around in my cart when I go to fill them up and have fallen over in my car. I think sometimes you get glass that breaks easily, as per some other reviews, glass is unpredictable - it is possible to get a rogue bad one. I am thankful that these are going strong. I'm glad to not be tasting plastic anymore, and am able to lift them without breaking a sweat. Highly recommend.

Great glass jars, but the caps show up destroyed or will soon break. I would love for the company to resend me new caps, as these are crushed while still new in their unopened bag.

I got 2 of the single jugs for use only with water. I just get tired of the plastic jugs holding a scent after awhile so I got some of these glass jugs. These are decent jugs. I keep one in my electric cooler and sometimes the water inside freezes halfway but I haven't had any problems with that damaging the jug at all. They seem to keep a tight seal at the lid and seem to be good quality. For the price, I paid I think $15 each, these were a fair deal.

Why do they call one jug a "FastRack?" Go finger. I read the reviews about the caps, and decided to take my chances. I can get high quality caps at usplastic anyway, and I just wanted nice jugs. My caps were fine on my jugs, and seem good quality. Probably droop some day with this size, but I'll deal with that when it comes. 1 gal glass jugs at uline were around the same price, 7.70e, but shipping was more and slower. Chances are these came from uline in bulk. My wife said it's too bad apple juice doesn't come in these any more. Milk would be nice. That's what she said. Beat me to it.

Product was delivered ahead of time, well packaged and very stylish, durable bottles and water tight caps.Ideal for water storage, they also make a terrific "Cape Breton Oak Cask" by putting lightly charred oak, maple and birch sticks, along with a 7.5" piece of 3/8 copper tubing and small nugget of chaga (Inonotus obliquus), together with 1 gallon of neutral spirits (legally purchased from the Nova Scotia Liquor Commission).I as so pleased with the results, I am considering offering same for sale (-spirits) for others who want to control the colour and flavour of their favorite spirits to their taste. The photo is a before/after of two Casks showing results after 6 weeks of aging. The fun part is shaking it up very day or so, to help the process along (and great stress relief therapy as well). Nice glass jugs. I ordered to make lamps with the beach glass I've collected over the years. This box sat at UPS customs for days and when I finally received it, I had 3 jugs, not 4. The box was clearly re-taped, no glass in the box to hint of a break on the 4th jug... just gone. It was packaged ok, I'm lucky 3 survived. If I were packing them myself, I'd have used bubble wrap, peanuts, or more air packing. Overall, they're good quality jugs. I'm disappointed that I will have to buy another jug to make the 4th lamp, but amazon did make it right.Not sure why it sat in customs for days after it was already where the packages in my small rural area to get distributed and I'm not sure how an entire jug just disappeared. Again the box was jacked up and the tape job that didn't even touch the box and had the contents showing from the outside should've been a sign of disappointment.Again the jugs are great quality, I'm just complaining about the missing jug, not the quality. They're exactly as they're described, very reasonably priced, and and good quality. Comes with what it says it does- I don't need the accessories, but if you do, they're there.

Love these bottles, I am purchasing the pump dispensers that fit these bottles, they will be used in my Laundry to replace the plastic detergent bottles. Perfect for what I want them for.
