FAST DRYING OIL PAINTING MEDIUM
Technical Specifications

PROPERTIES
- A ready to use medium for accelerating the drying time of oil colours.
- Promotes smooth drying both by surface and in depth.
- Includes siccatives.
- A flip-top cap is included for providing a dropwise application
Add max 6% of the medium to the oil colour in order to speed up the drying time (1-2 days or even less). Use only dropwise (A flip-top cap is included for the ease of use). Otherwise colour may darken.
Compatible with a wide variety of oil colors from different producers. Shake well before use.
A preliminary test is strongly recommended before use in larger amounts in order to avoide darkening effects.

These is a siccative agent for oil painting.The smell is bad like many oil based solvents and mediums. Painting with oils is generally a smelling affair, an anybody knows, even the brands deemed “scentless” still have smell. Always open a window or have goon ventilation as fumes are not healthy, even if they don’t smell.That being said this does smell stronger than my old liquin bottle.The consistency is more liquid, this is a very economical product, one needs a drop basically, not too much so that the integrity of the oils bonds is not corrupted. The fact that the bottle comes with a dropper cap is appreciated, of course.Price wise this is cheaper than liquin.My oils are old formula Windsor and Newton and also Gamblin, I have my collection since at least 20 years ago, width the occasional addition of an extra titanium white or zinc white or whatever I run out of. This product works fine, and while I don’t see a lightening fast dry time, I cannot expect that. If I want fast dry time I use acrylics.RecommendedThank you

This just arrived, a day before Thanksgiving, so no time to experiment with it. I do want to note that it arrived very well sealed and packaged. This is appreciated, no one wants to receive a leaky product. The top was well sealed and the entire bottle was wrapped extensively to ensure no leakage. Just as a note, once opened, there is a plastic stopper which is good to avoid accidental spills, and a 2nd cap with a dispenser to avoid wasting product. These are small touches that speak to the quality. I have not used this brand before, it smells good - a normal smell - and the plastic bottle is heavier than normal. I expect to enjoy it, should I note any difference once I use it, I will update the review. If you are a painter, I believe this is a medium I can recommend.
