There are so many options out there for displaying medals, but this one was new to me. It creates a very nice and organized appearance by neatly routing the ribbons and keeping the medals facing forward. I'm not a fan of the adhesive back (the only reason they don't get 5 stars), so I'll likely add picture hanging hardware on the back, but that's not a difficult modification, and the wood is certainly sturdy enough to handle it. These are nice quality, sealed wood with very strong magnets, and the expansion possibilities are endless! Note that the product does not come with printed instructions, but the step-by-step photos and video on the product listing are great. The seller also provides a tool to help with opening and tucking the ribbons.

These medal holders are made of oak. I love the shape since I can attach them to a wall and add more in the future as I pick up more pickleball medals. It took me awhile to figure out how to wrap the ribbon. Turns out there is a video on the Amazon listing with a few suggestions. Two things holding me back from a five start review. 1) they don't work the best for large medals. My videos show a medal I received recently at a professional pickleball tournament. It is a heavy medal and quite large. It doesn't quite fit this medal stand. (Close enough so I'll keep it but wish I could make it fit better. 2) My first order came with a cracked insert. The inserts are oak and have several cutouts for wrapping the ribbon. Be sure to check for cracks as these cutouts can weaken the overall strength of the oak. I'd think if there are no cracks on day one, it should last a while. (I returned my first order and quickly received a replacement.)The holders have a big round disc of adhesive on the back. I don't know how strong that is and if it will damage my walls when it comes time to move the display so I'm using 3M Command Adhesive instead.Very happy that these worked out. They look sharp and unique.

I have a hexagon style theme going on in my office so these were perfect for displaying my medals in an area where we really cannot mount the medal rack.These were out of the box ready to be used - definitely watch the video on how to properly thread it - definitely make sure you tighten/pull the ribbon as you go along otherwise the medal will hang way down. Works best with the medals where the medal loop is in the back so then it lays flat - in my photo you can see where one of my medals the metal loop is visible on the top and its hanging down a bit.The biggest pain was getting the paper off the back of the sticky part - it took me longer to get that off without pulling away the sticky stuff than it was to actually thread the medal and get them on the wall.Overall, a really solid way to display my medals and goes with my theme! Planning to grab a couple more packs!

Nice, all wood display. Strong magnets keep everything in place when closed. Fairly easy to thread medal ribbon through the holes; threading pattern assures ribbon is kept taut. Appropriately sized for marathon medals.Works well for ribbons that hang from the rear of the medal. However, if the ribbon is connected from the top of the medal, the medal will hang lower than center.For mounting there is only double-sided tape on the rear. It's a substantial circle piece of double-sided tape, but would prefer the option to also hang from the wall with a nail/screw.
