It took me and my adult son FOUR hours to assemble 2 of these bookcases!!! I about died when I opened the boxes. Seriously over 100 pieces and a 47 page manual. KEEP READING: although extremely tedious to assemble, the directions were clear, all pegs/screws/bolts were clearly identified, and they seem very sturdy after finishing. The most “misleading” part for me (and truthfully I didn’t take time to consider before ordering) was the height of each shelf. Most of my art books and gardening books will not fit vertically in the bookcases, which was why I ordered them in the first place. I’ve had to lay the books flat on shelves, which makes pulling books more difficult.My advice: check ALL the measurements to be sure these are the size you want. Be sure you have the time and patience for a tedious construction project. The finished look is well worth the discounted price.

Beautiful shelf. Looks great unfortunately it was missing the bottom of the drawer piece and the manufacturer was unable to send another part due to it being out of stock but the did refund part is of my money.

Received the bookshelf the other day and was excited to put together. Everything was going well but both #8 parts came damaged. We were also missing H screws so unable to complete the project. Other. Hopefully customer service will help.
